Introduction

Hi. My name is MartinOlaf and this will be my first guide. I've played Olaf alot, and I will share my thoughts and what I find working out for me.

Items

First off I go with Dorans Shield. I always back when I achieve 800g to buy Emblem of Valor. The reason for me to do that, is that I get the lifesteal I need to keep laning. Then I grab some boots and a phage if the farmning/laning goes well. I finish frozen mallet and stark's fervor. This is generally what you need to be overpowered. Then you can get Atma's Impaler to increase your damage and finish it with Warmogs Armor.

PS: If the game is going really well, you can swap Dorans Shield with anything tanky.

Summoner Spells

Personally I use Ghost/Exhaust for ultimate ganking and escaping. I've seen people using Flash, but I don't recommend using it.

Summary

Olaf is a great champion if played right. I've seen a lot of people playing him the wrong way. Try to follow this one, and you might just find a hero you'll like.

This guide req. a lot of famning, since the items are expensive. Just remember you would do OK with Frozen Mallet and Starks + boots.
