Not Updated For Current Season
The masteries shown here are not yet updated for the current season, the guide author needs to set up the new masteries. As such, they will be different than the masteries you see in-game.
Hi, hope this guide helps you, Ive played vs. many Ezreals of many types, but none ever beat in 1vs1, or died after me (if I died) in teamfights, so I figured out I should post a guide.
BTW - this is my first guide, so I dont know how to make it fancy like all the other guides, but on the other side, its much much simpler than them, straight forward guide type :D .
Pros / Cons
very strong even without full build
can nuke enemy
great for harrasing with W after lvl 4
his R can finish kills so no need for ignite (unless you want to)
like every other ezreal he is usually focused
you have to time yourself correctly in order to help your team and not just dying for nothing
take ALOT of time and practice to master him
In masteries I would suggest taking 21/0/9 while taking all magic dmg in offence, and speed and magic regen in utility
They build is not so situantional as most items are cheap, and once you learn to play him games will go good for you therefore I start my build with boots of speed and 3 HP pots (just cuz its a great start, mobility and sustain) I move on to fix one of my main problems - MANA, get a sapphire crystal to take care of that and then move on to Ionian boots for cooldown reduce.
You already have a sapphire crystal so upgrade it to Catalyst The Protector - more sustain and mana, cuz you need it, and lots of it. Now that we have sustain and cooldown reduce we can move on to the important thing, Abillity Power, take a Kage's lucky pick, it will help you stack gold quicker even if for some reason you are zoned and cannot farm. RABADON TIME- get a rabadon's deathcap, 30% ap and all that stuff, LOTS OF DMG, we have cooldown reduce but not eanough, we want more, and we need to take care of that tank stacking magic resist, get deathfire grasp for its active and cooldown passive.
at this part you have to pick for the situation - if your enemies are very tanky, get a Void Staff, if not, procced to get Rod Of Ages, for extra HP(you are very squishy) and mana
now again you stand between 2 items, this time you have to chose 1 - Zhonya's Hourglass (is sometimes better if you remember its active) or Rylai's Crystal Scepter (for chases and HP)
This is something very important but sadly, NO ONE, and I repeat, NO ONE, BUT YOURSLEF, can teach you how do co-operate with your team, you will have ot take your time and practice again and again and again, untill you'll get it. some guides are telling you what to do in specific situation, but again, its very SPECIFIC, so you'll have to face many loses and dying quickly untill you'll get what you're supposed to do (I suggest that each teamfight analyze the fight and see why you died for nothing, or why you died, cuz you're not supposed to die)
