Introduction

Hi everyone, I'm Cartøøn and here is my guide for Ezreal, an original carry who can be played like an AD carry or an AP caster, in this guide I will focus on an AD Ezreal. Feel free to give me some feedbacks or some suggestions.

First of all, I do not recommend for new players, since 3 of his abilities are skillshots, it could be very hard to a new player to master him.
If you are an experienced player and you're looking for an AD carry with an original gameplay, Ezreal is for you.

Pros / Cons

Pros

+ Nice burst early game

+ Free Flash with Arcane Shift

+ Mystic Shot got a great range

+ Can take advantage in 1v1 with Essence Flux

+ Trueshot Barrage can be used in many ways

+ He can kite very well

Cons

- He is squishy and vulnerable to CC

- Take a bit of time to get used to his skills

- Can be a bit hard to master

- His Q is spammable so if you don't pay
attention it can leave you out of mana quite fast early game

- No Crowd-Control

Offensive Tree

Summoner's Wrath : To get the bonus while Ignite is on cooldown.

Alacrity : Some extra atk speed, useful to unlock Weapon Expertise

Deadliness : More atk damage per lvl, useful to unlock Lethality

Weapon Expertise : You must take this, it takes off 10% of your enemy's armor, a must have for any AD carry.

Lethality : Let your critical hits be even more critical.

Vampirism : A bit more sustain to stay longer on your lane.

Sunder : Even more ArmPen, can help you if you took Greater Mark of Attack Damage, or let you get more ArmPen if you took Greater Mark of Desolation

Executioner : Nice to get more easily your last hits, or taking down a low hp enemy.
Defensive Tree

Resistance / Hardiness : To be able to exchange better and stay longer on your lane.

Durability : Give a nice HP boost at level 18.

Veteran's Scars : Like a free Greater Quintessence of Health, nice for Ezreal and his low base HP.

Summoner Spells

For Ezreal i recommend these summoner spells :




Flash :
The currently most used summoner spell, can be used defensively or offensively, to finish a runner, positioning yourself, jumping throught a wall, dodge a skill. Fits good with Ezreal's high mobility.

Ignite :
Deals true damage, ignoring armor and magic resist, can be used to adding damage to your burst, finish a runner, helping you in a 1v1 fight, maybe your enemy won't even notice it, or leaving an enemy without any healing options.

Heal :
Can be used to save yourself or a teammate, earning a kill if someone try to towerdive you, can reverse a teamfight, but never use it if you're under Ignite.

Exhaust :
Can be used to cancel the enemy AD carry, win a 1v1, help you chasing someone or help you if you're getting chased, could be leaved to your support.

Abilities

SPACE Rising Spell Force : This innate is a great attack speed steroid, each time one of your ability hits an enemy, it increase your attack speed by 10%, it can stack 5 times. Use Trueshot Barrage to engage a teamfight and stack Rising Spell Force.

SPACE Mystic Shot (Q) : It's your main skill when playing an AD Ezreal, it got a low cooldown, a low manacost, an 1.0 AD Scaling, proc on-hit effects like Sheen and LifeSteal and a long range, what else ?
TIPS :
  • Mystic Shot resets auto attack timer, so try to do it just after an auto attack to do more damage.
  • You can use Mystic Shot to last hit 2 minions at the same time, just land an auto attack on the farthest minion and a Mystic Shot on the closer.
  • Mystic Shot can be used to check a brush, just land it in the brush and check if you earned a stack of Rising Spell Force.
