Introduction

Hello everyone! I'll talk about the basics of AD Ezreal. Some may wonder - Is AD Ezreal viable in competitive play? The answer is a definite yes! Why is that so? Ezreal has a high damage output throughout the game and can farm relatively easily. He is also able to sustain in lane well and when the game transitions into mid-late game, he can put a lot of pressure on the opponent team.

Masteries

A 21-9-0 or a 21-0-9 is fairly obvious. The reason being AD Ezreal gains more damage from the offense tree. 21-9-0 gives defensive stats when laning against another ranged AD. 21-0-9 gives more mana and movement speed.

Items

For the first build, it's a standard AD item set. Ezreal benefits from Trinity's passive and all the stats are fully utilized, thus it's an extremely effective item on Ezreal. As for the second item build, Wriggle's provide more sustain in lane, neutral minions control, and of course the ward. Wriggle's can be bought when you are losing in lane as it gives a big amount of sustain due to the lifesteal it provides.

Skill Sequence

Max Q first as it's used as your main farm/damage tool. W isn't usually used but you can add a point in it at level 4 if you want to. E provides excellent escaping or chasing. Your ultimate has a global range - Abuse it! Fire it across the map if you need to. Aiming your ultimate may take some practise but don't be discouraged by a few misses.

Summoner Spells

Exhaust is a really great spell on AD carries. Flash is one of the best Summoner Spells in the game, definitely get it for the amazing escapes and chases. Heal/Flash and Cleanse/Flash is also extremely viable in the current meta.
