Hello everybody!! This is my first guide so I hope that I get this right. First things first. Zed is a thoroughly badassed individual, with tons of spike damage and a good escape. Now I've seen alot of people go kinda tanky with him via Frozen mallet which I myself have done untill recently. I'm going a different direction with this guide cause the last few matches I've played have used this guide with a reoccuring theme....Victory. Now you will die a few times especially if you get tower dive crazy....which i do....its a problem ive been working on...gimme a break..... but I digress, ummm oh yeah you'll die a few times but more times then not you will be way in the positive so no big deal right?

I like to go with Greater marks of strength, resilience, and sheilding. mostly cause like most champs Zed is a little squishy at the beginning of the game. I get 2 greater quintessences....quintesences.....quintessences yeah quintessences (i think thats how you spell it) of swiftness for well being swift. and 1 greater quintessence of strength to be an early game threat

My mastery for Zed tends to revolve around ad, stuff like damage, armor pen., and attack speed with a little bit of def. just so Zed's head is above water.....heh that rhymes. I will say that Zed's best defense would be his sipperyness with Living shadow. picking when to use this for defense or offense is up to you. The way i go about it is for team fights i use it defensively. 1 on 1's and ganks, offense because of the extra damage for his ult. cause with a good Zed their wont be anybody around you have to defend against cause their... ya know.....dead.

Ok. now items. Zed isn't all that item dependent but you really should dress the part. For laning i start with a doran's using my Q for harass and once you get dance of shadows forget about it especially if you are against a melee, giving you ample room to farm and whatnot. go for boots then Vampires Scepter for some more survivability. now when you get your ult dont think you just entered god mode cause your burst damage wont be all that huge....YET. Go for a B.F. sword Now you can be pushy, strut a little and go for ganks when open. Afterwards get a Black Cleaver for the armor pen. and ionian spark for the health and attack speed. Now the way I look at all of Zed's items is how it effects his ult so armor pen, attack damage and attack speed are all things to think about with this champ. By now you should have a few kills *COUGH* *COUGH* 10 *COUGH* aim for the infinty edge and Blood Thirster. GOD MODE ACTIVATED INITIATE KILL SEQUENCE End with Phantom dancer for attack speed and movement speed and there you have it a 5 speed blender on legs.

start with Razor shuriken or the eye poker as i like to call it. follow up with Dance of shadows to extend that eye poke even more. maxing eye poke first and Living Shadow second for the extra damage buff it provides. maxing shadow slash last i mostly use it for the slow so this works well for me. dont forget to put a point in death mark whenever possible cause everyone needs an ult.

Im not to picky about summoner spells for Zed personally i go for teleport and ignite for the map mobility and the little extra damage for his ult. some use flash but i dont think this is necessary for Zed Due to his Living Shadow. heal shouldn't be needed cause of the life steal but exhaust is always nice for chase or fleeing. i think summoner skills go with a person's play style not a champ style.

So move fast hit hard and then vanish like a fart in the wind that is the way of the shadow....the way of the ninja.......the way of me. be very picky about your ganks your squishy and exposed after your ult so be cautious. Hopfuly all will work out and i wont be Cursed at and insulted cause my build doesnt work for you. this is SmugRed signing off.
