Riven is a vary strong and mobile champion and is one of my favorite champions. Riven is mostly played as a smasher (high damage slow attacks) and a little life steal, I have however seen some people play her full tank, that makes her hard to kill, but also makes it hard for her to get kills.

Pros!
-Riven is a smasher so she does slow attacks at high damage
-Lots of escape and pursuit skills
-Can easy help team in tough situations

Cons!
-Riven's slow attacks makes it easy for strikers (High attack speed) to take her down
-Timing her skills just right can be difficult
-She is vary weak to slows

Riven's passive, Runic Blade, enhances Riven's basic attacks if she uses a skill, ever time she uses one of any of her spells she gains a stack of Runic Blade up to a max of 3 stacks, if Riven has at least one stack of Runic Blade then her next basic attacks removes one stack and does extra damage.

Broken Wings is a three part skill, the first two parts she jumps in from of her and damages all enemies in front of her, the third cast Riven will jump in the direction she is facing
