Because it's one really GOOD skill. On average you're bringing your AD no more then 200 anyways. He really doesn't need the AS items as much as others, nor the crit. So I don't know what to tell you. Test it out, let me know what you think. I've done pretty good with this build.

Why go AP if only one skill scales with AP ratio...It's just a waste on Nocturne

I'm not looking for the the Trinity Force to proc with the Lich. Which one procs first? Cause if it's the Lich then that's what I intended to begin with. 500+ AP with 200+ AD makes for a big burst on softer classes when popping your Ultimate.

Trinity Force and Lich Bane don't stack with each other. You won't get a "super-proc" off of each skill activation.
