Hey guys this is my first MobaFire guide ever. Not trying to do anything fancy. I'm not the greatest player in solo queue. I am a silver elo player. However, I have had tons of experience with just about every champion throughout my almost 3 years of playing this game. This guide will just show you the way I like to play FiddleSticks but, my more favorable champ MIDDLESTICKS.
This is a brief summory of how I play middlesticks. If I get any feedback at all on it or some views ill make it more in-depth. I'm working on getting pictures and all. Please read through the guide. You should be rating on if it works, not that it's ugly. I know I suck at making guides that's why I've waited till now to do so.
What to do in lane?
Farm, then farm again.. wait then again.. harass when needed
ward your lane. ward their jungle
ward your jungle
I DO NOT CARE IF YOU AREN'T SUPPORT. WARDS WIN GAMES. People in low elo wont ward much we all know this. so do it yourself. When you hit 6 search for some kills.
I go straight AP runes. I almost never can be out done post first buy for this reason. This also helps me being able to get my jungle ahead with super hard leashes using my heal. Standard for most ap mids now. Nothing special.
I go the standard ap caster masteries with points in utility for mana. I do slightly stray from the norm, since I like to keep their mid tower up for a bit, I don't take the bonus 5% damage to turret. Instead I invest two points in some ad to help last hit early game. This is because fiddle has a fairly bad attack animation
Most of this is explained in the tips. The reason that I get rhylias is for utility. There is two ways to play Fiddle. You have the rape everyone no matter what get a penta with ult.
Or you have the, do a lot of damage sustain life still and slow everyone down. So basically a giant ball of CC. Well I tend to go with the giant ball of cc. However I included the penta kill guide also. Spell vamp is not necessary on fiddle. However when you ult in and get bursted a bit before zhonyas. The spell vamp heals it up. Also makes your drain epic.
LAST HIT. This is your main source of income. If you suck at last hitting level up your dark wind to level 5 and farm farm farm farm farm farm. push your lane then go ult gank another lane.
You can max ANY one of your abilities first and have great success. This again depends on the situation. If you are having trouble farming max dark wind. If you have a jungle with a hard cc or a nice slow, max terrify and have awesome gank potential in your lane. If you are farming fine but against someone who can harass like hell, max drain and get full HP back from one minion.
I like flash ignite on fiddle. But feel free to trade out ignite for teleport. It makes for some awesome ults. Flash is a must on fiddle, one to flash for ult, two he has no natural escape or repositioning skill.
We all know fiddle's ult in team fights is OP. However there is a neat little trick to get free kills in mid. whenever your ult is available, walk to one of the side burshes to look like you went to gank. Then as they come towards you, or if they push the lane ult on the them, immeditly terrifying(Q) and draining with w, if needed throw down your ignite and E.
Pros / Cons
Not sure how to make the cool chart.
But fiddle is the same as everyother apc. he has great cc and great dmg output.
he is squishy though and can be focused down with stun locks.
Basically with this fiddle build you do a massive amount of damage, along with a have a massive amount off cc and health. This Is a utility middlesticks guide. You will net kills but mostly assists. Very Very rare deaths, as the team wont get to focus you between zohonyas and terrify. The goal of this build is to do exactly that. Get your team fed. Everyone knows in solo queue that you can't carry 4 people. However if you get that vayne on your team fed. You two can carry 3. So keep in mind. Killing is awesome but, you don't need it, your team might. If you are behind take it. If not pass it off to someone else. By no means do you let a kill slip away. However, if it's evident that your adc can take it, let him. (this doesn't apply when going superrapepentafiddle)
