Not Updated For Current Season
The masteries shown here are not yet updated for the current season, the guide author needs to set up the new masteries. As such, they will be different than the masteries you see in-game.
Hello, and welcome to my first build.
In this build I will explain some things about Fizz!
Fizz is a build that requires skills not because the champion is squishy, but because you need to play smart and need to time and place your attacks perfectly.
The first thing I learned when I started playing Fizz was: I don't like to share my lane..
Why is that? Well because Fizz is a great solo laner!
For example: Go mid with Fizz, start with boots of speed and 2 health potions and don't harras until level 6. Just keep last hitting minions and play your own game until level 6!
Once reached level 6 you should have around 1200 gold, go back buy your boots and a ruby crystal. This is the moment you can harras!. I will explain more about this later this build!
I hope you will enjoy this build and get lots of kills with it!
Pros / Cons
Alot of damage output!
Perfectly made for ganking
Never bores you to play Fizz
Great survivability balanced with damage dealt.
Great escape ability (Trickster)
You need to play careful early game
You get targeted alot
Greater Mark of Insight?
I took the magic pen runes because magic/armor pen runes are the key to do alot of output damage!. Always usefull to do some extra damage when using your skills!. You could also use armor pen runes but that is all up to you, IMO magic pen fits better on Fizz.
Greater Seal of Force?
Since Fizz deals damage over AP, AP is a need for Fizz. Thats why I took the Greater Seal of Force runes to get that little extra AP to deal the damage I was looking for. Other people like to go with CDR or Mana regen Seals, this is something you choose but well IMO in my build this worked better.
Great Glyph of Celerity?
As you probably know, Fizz his cooldowns take quite some time and his skills are necessary to do output damage!. Thats why I took the CDR Glyphs to take some seconds of his cooldowns.
Greater Quint of Potency?
Again I chose for ability power, like I said before: Ability Power is important to Fizz since he deals his output damage based on Ability Power.
The 21 - 9 - 0 masterie line I picked is IMO the best way to go with Fizz.
Not only because I wanna build Fizz on dealing damage but also with this setup Fizz has a great survivability.
The 21 setup because you gain additional AP and damage % increased and the 9 for some defense early game that helps alot.
The item order I chose is based on stacking ability power late game.
Why late game? Fizz deals enough damage early game with the runes I picked.
You can kill/harras from level 6 and farm gold until you builded more Ability Power.
Once you gained enough gold to purchase some major items you can gank and help other teammates to carry your team to victory!
What skills and in what order?
Fizz is a champion made for his ultimate "Chum The Waters" with all your skills ready to use you can make a combination that is almost always fatal for the enemy champion 1v1!
The skill order you should always use is;
(R) "Chum The Waters" »» (W) "Seastone Trident" »» (Q) "Urchin Strike" »» (E) "Playful/Trickster".
Using this combination makes your enemy unable to move and receive alot of damage.
(R) stucks your enemy for a short time, in meantime you can pop (W) and use (Q) to strike towards him immediatly. As soon as he is out of your ultimate you can chase him down and damage him with (E), now he should be near dead! now you can finish him with just attacking him with auto attacks or use ignite.
So I choose to max out (Q) : Urchin Strike" First to deal damage with striking to him, since it deals the most output damage together with your ultimate.
The summoner spells I go for are "Ignite" and "Flash".
I took these spells because ignite helps alot finishing off an enemy that is low on hp.
You will see that you miss that littlebit of damage on low level when you used all your skills on the enemy and you think DAMN! he just got away with 75 HP.
Well this is over as soon as he has ignite burning up that 75 HP on his ***!
Why I took flash is too easy to even doubt about.. its a great spell to use offensive as defensive.
Like when you chase down a low HP enemy and your ignite is on cooldown and you think aaah **** he is JUST out of range.. just flash towards him and strike him..
Or when you are low of HP you can always flash over walls or away from your enemy.
Saved my *** alot of times!
I hope you enjoy playing this build, its worth trying and works as said: Aaaah you are boring.
I will keep updating this build.
Tips are always welcome.
