Introduction to AP Fizz
Hello, Welcome to my first ever guide on Fizz the Tidal Trickster. Fizz is one of the Greatest Champions I've ever played in League Of Legends. He can snowball at late game once he got fed, avoiding ganks, farm well and Kill Stealing! :P
I have made 2 builds for Fizz and Both works very well.
And of course, This guide is highly recommended on Summoner's Rift or Twisted Treeline too. I'm not that sure on Dominion But I will make one in future.
I play League Of Legends on the Garena Server, Not NA, EU West or any other. That's because I'm from Singapore! :D
Runes
- Greater Quintessence of Ability Power: For the early game Harass of good AP
- Greater Mark of Magic Penetration: Magic Pen to do bonus damage or pierce MR
- Greater Glyph of Scaling Ability Power: The higher level, the higher AP
- Greater Seal of Scaling Ability Power: Good late game AP
Take these runes for Great AP and Magic Pen, works well for me. :D Great for both Tank and Burst Build
Other choices are Greater Quintessence of Movement Speed, Greater Seal of Ability Power, Greater Glyph of Ability Power, Greater Glyph of Cooldown Reduction and greater seal of replenishment
Ability Explanation
-
Nimble Fighter:
(Innate): Fizz's dexterity allows him to perpetually ignore unit collision and take 4 / 6 / 8 / 10 / 12 / 14 reduced physical damage from physical attacks.
-
Urchin Strike (Q):
(Active): Fizz dashes a fixed distance in the direction of his target, dealing his total attack damage as physical damage plus additional magic damage to it. The ability will also apply on-hit effects.
-
Seastone Trident (W):
(Passive): Fizz's autoattacks rend his target, dealing magic damage over 3 seconds that strengthens if the opponent is low on life. Multiple autoattacks will only refresh the duration.
(Active): Fizz's attacks are empowered for the next 5 seconds, dealing additional magic damage on-hit and causing grievous wounds to his opponents.
-
Playful / Trickster (E): (Active): Fizz hops onto his trident in a nearby location, becoming untargetable for 0.75 seconds and gaining the ability to use Trickster before the effect ends. If Fizz does not use it, he will slam the ground below him, dealing magic damage and slowing nearby enemies for 2 seconds.
(Active): Fizz hops off from his trident to a nearby location, dealing magic damage nearby enemies in a smaller area than Playful. This ability will not slow enemies.
-
Chum The Waters (R):
(Active): Fizz throws a fish in a line that will bind itself onto the first enemy champion it hits. If it doesn't hit an enemy champion it will stay on an area, and it will stick to the first enemy champion that walks into the area. The champion that has the fish attached will be slowed by 50%.
Regardless of position, after 1.5 seconds, a Shark will emerge from the earth to eat the fish, dealing magic damage, knocking up the target, knocking back all other enemies within the area from the center and slowing all enemies in the area for 1.5 seconds.
Taking Seastone Trident first then to Urchin Strike is to harass in lane.
Max Playful / Trickster first, to lower the cooldown and use to harass or kill your target, Playful / Trickster has a great burst of damage with Sheen/ Lich Bane .
Max Urchin Strike Second is because the damage from it is pretty good, i took it at level 2 is because it combines well with Seastone Trident and Sheen very well.
I max Seastone Trident last because i found out that maxing it first doesn't do that lot of damage early game and only works well on late game while facing like Dr. Mundo and some other Champions with Health Stacks
And of course, take Chum the Waters at Level 6, 11 and 16.
Take Ignite and Flash as summoner spells, Ignite is for kill secure and Flash for escaping or chasing.
Other Great Summoner Spells are :
Ghost To chase your target or run, shorter cooldown than Flash.
Exhaust Not to let your Target escape.
Heal Heal Bait, Stay in lane longer.
Cleanse Best summoner spell to avoid ganking, but Playful / Trickster is already a good way to escape.

First Recall : kage's lucky pick
2 Doran's Ring is for sustain and harassment. kage's lucky pick is for 5 gold per 10 seconds. Take Sheen because of burst damage. Sorcerer's Shoes is of course the magic pen.
Mid-Game Core Item :
Lich Bane comes first for the great burst of damage since Fizz is Melee. Rabadon's Deathcap is the second big item because the amount of AP is so huge. Giant's Belt eventually built into Rylai's Crystal Scepter for the big amount of Health and AP.
Late Game Items :
Rylai's Crystal Scepter for the big amount of Health and AP. Deathfire Grasp gives an amount of AP and has a uniques active of dealing 25% of the target's current health as magic damage. Void Staff I don't usually get to this far because the game ends early and stuff, it gives 40% magic pen to pierce MR.

Start Off With :
Boots and 3 Health Potion To avoid skills shots like Morgana's Dark Binding or Kennen's Thundering Shuriken.
First Recall : Catalyst the protector
2 Doran's Ring is for sustain and harassment. catalyst the protector higher sustain and building into Rod of Ages. Take Sheen because of burst damage. Mercury's Treads for the Tenacity and Magic Resist.
Mid-Game Core Item :
Taking Rod of Ages to go a little tanky and Rabadon's Deathcap for the big amount of AP. Lich Bane is a must for Fizz since his a melee and with a big burst of AP.
Late Game Items :
During Late Game, You wouldn't really wanna die that much, which is why I get Rod of Ages, Mercury's Treads, Zhonya's Hourglass, Abyssal Mask for health, armor, magic resist and much more. Rabadon's Deathcap and Lich Bane is normal for Fizz for the Big AP.
Other Good Items :
Fizz farms well with Seastone Trident's passive, or activation of it, even under the tower. Keep last hitting and you'll get your gold.
Fizz's Playful / Trickster can farm too, once he got about level 14 and over 200 AP (about there, i'm not sure). If you see a huge creep wave, use Playful / Trickster and you will get a huge amount of gold, AWESOME! XD
Just keep doing last hits, practice it and you'll be successful in game.

REWQ/WQRE/RWQ-Ignite-E Combo, it's like Blitzcrank's QER Combo, but damaging. Give it a try, it's got big damage! :D
When Team Fight comes, You don't really want to initiate first, unless you got the sustainability or u go fed, NEVER initiate at a very low health. Fizz is one great initiator once he got his Chum the Waters and with the great sustainability. Team Comps like Blitzcrank or Jarvan IV or Malphite will of course make a good initiation on the enemy team. Make sure all your team mates are ready and good enough no initiate a team fight, not skiving or being scared of a freaking half-fed Akali or Xin Zhao.
Fizz as you can see is a Great Champion, if you have 975RP (in North America or EU West Server) or 355RP (in the Garena Server) or 6300 IP please do pick it up and try. :D
Thank you for reading my first ever Fizz Guide.
