Intro - WTF? TANKY DPS?!?!

First off, ive heard many comments about fizz. 'Oh, he sucks.', 'Way to go Riot, a dumpster champ!'. Ignore all these comments, theyre all wrong. Ignore all the other people who say to build fizz off ap, they dont realize the raw power of his W passive. That passive, is the key to making fizz work, and they key to making people Fizz their pants while carrying the game.

Mastires - WTF NOT 30 OFFENSE?!?!?

Yes, thats right. 21 in offense, and 9 in utility. Why not thirty? Its not needed, the bonuses youll get arent that substantial. The bonus of less time dead, and flash cdr, and buff durations are too beneficial to outweigh some short term early game benefits. Dont be coy, diversify your skill trees.

Summoners - OMG NO SURGE?!

Holy ****! No surge? Alright, so Fizz is not a dumpster champ, however Surge, is a waste of a summoners. Sure, its early game effectiveness is awesome... but late game that AP gain and AS gain is trash. Ignite will carry you through, giving you an additional DoT, and carry out that 50% health gain reduction.

Flash is obvious, still a great escape spell. You can opt for ghost instead of flash, but it all comes down to preference.

Skills - Orders, Thoughts & Explinations

This build is all built around Fizz's W passive, so maxing it first is crucial. We max the Q first as this is your dash/situational escape/burst.

Lets talk about your E for a minute, its your primary escape spell. Going into your E makes you untargetable. What that means, is that you can cancel out spells youre in. Morgana's ulti? Cancelled. You predict a malz ulti? Cancelled. Ez/Ashe? No go for them either. You can dodge, any spell, at any time as long as it is not on cooldown. That, in itself, makes Fizz OP.

Your ulti can cause teamfights to be won, or win an easy 1-1. Throw it on there, and Q and W in, with an ignite... and all goes well for you. Its a slow, that leads to a knock up. Time your E right, and you can slow them again coming out of the ulti. What it boils down to, is some Chain CC, with high dps, and some burst.

BUT BUT BUT - QQ Section

Tanky DPS? But but but.. he scales with ap? Yes, yes he does. IF you go AP, youre all burst, and low survivability. Dont have enough resistances, and dont have enough damage output to justify that AP waste. Go tanky DPS, and watch the world bleed as you live through it all. Try it, and try the ap way. After you burn your ap skills, and notice you die too fast, youll realize why that tanky dps was a better choice.

More QQ - OMG FM AND A TRI FORCE? NOOOOOB. Yeah, it is kinda. Heres the thoughts, Atmas = hp, FM = hp + armor. It all forms a circle, and makes you that more powerful. Get it, and use it, then come at me. If you dont like this, get a bashees, or a FoN, or a GA. It all depends on you at this point.
