Buying IE or ER is something that has to do more with play style. IE -> auto attack based (extra damage from passive) and ER -> ability/ultimate dependent (extra cooldown reduction). Both are fine.

However, you cannot get crit from runes. My question is what is wrong with my rune choices because that was the topic in the first place.

What do you mean with CS? If you mean that she needs to farm, then I can say that you get almost as much attack speed from the current rune system (18% attack speed bonus) as in the old system (13.5% quintessences + ~3% glypghs (optional) + 4% masteries = ~20.5%).

The thing is you shouldn't 1 vs. 1 the other adc most of the time because you should focus more on objectives or team fights. Ashe excels at team fighting, where the extra 12% damage from all resources ( Press the Attack) benefit a team fight, while her dueling is more average. If you want to duel other champs, I recommend Vayne as she has much more tools to outwit the enemy.

For the choice of keystone, I prefer more damage on her because she has already an attack speed steroid but she cannot crit. I try to balance the champions weaknesses and strengths with my builds. For example, the example build/core has a lot of attack speed but my runes more damage and defensive stuff if you noticed. Furthermore, the other keystone Lethal Tempo is also fine. In my rune section (it's still pretty much WIP), I said that you have generally two choices per slot. Additionally, it's all very early to determine the best rune yet.

Thanks for the kind words :) I haven't played in a long time unfortunately, so I cannot judge the meta properly. I prefer PD and Runnan's over Shiv because they enhance her strengths (team fighting, (pseudo) AoE slow) and cover up her weaknesses (squishy, slow ms), and I don't see Shiv adding anything more than burst, which she hasn't much compared to other marksmen. Additionally, I always build Runnan's, so I have already enough wave clear. Like somebody said about Shiv: "Everyone figured out that wave clear and pushing is broken." That's why you see, for example, Tristana a lot more than before. However, Ashe doesn't really need it unless the opponent has crazy wave clear. (I talked about this in the FAQ section but I don't know if it's outdated.)

I would still take doran's blade over doran's shield. Doran's blade has 8 AD which is helpful for last hitting and trading with enemies. Generally, AD and life steal are stats that are always useful on marksmen. Moreover, Ashe has a pretty long range and is a lane bully which is why she wouldn't need the defenses unlike short ranged champions like Sivir. Doran's shield is good against low poke lanes ( Janna and Vayne) but really bad against burst champions or lots of poke (e.g. Zyra). A weak laner could benefit from the changes but Ashe doesn't need it as much. The only situation I could think of is if bot lane is forced to play farm simulator.
However, the item itself looks overtuned since you get a second pot, health regen and more health regen. Still, I wouldn't recommend it.

Yeah, I need to update the guide properly in the next few weeks. However, I'm not really convinced into buying cleaver since Riot nerfed the AD part.
