Miss Fortune Build
Not Updated For Current Season
The masteries shown here are not yet updated for the current season, the guide author needs to set up the new masteries. As such, they will be different than the masteries you see in-game.
Here is my Miss Fortune build! I decided to make a build of my own because I wasn't having great success with the top builds on here so I spent a few days devising my own little build.
-Great AoE capabilities
-Good harasser with double up
-great farming potential
-squishy like all carries
-very slow once she gets hit
-useless if you farm poorly
-double up is random
-mana starving early on
-keeps getting nerfed
First, I take ghost to help you chase people and get away if needed.
Second I take exhaust. This is helpful for running or evening a fight out against another carry.
For masteries I take a standard 21-0-9 for increased damage output and extra regen, exp, and gold. However you can put 21 into the defensive tree if you die to easily.
When you start off buy a Doran's Blade and a health potion put a rank into double up, and take mid. Now we have a goal here. You must get all the last hits possible! As a carry it is crucial to farm up as much as we can. We need to get a B.F Sword and some of our beserker greaves by around the 10 minute mark. This will be around 2200 gold. When you get to level 6 use your ult every chance you get. It is amazing for farming. When a new minion wave comes pop your ult in the middle of them and score 6 free last hits! Once you get 2200 gold, secure your lane and head back. Buy a B.F sword and boots of speed. Head back to mid. Here's where you start making your move. Harass the enemy as much as you can and try to force them to go back. Then put on impure shots and go to town on the turret with your amazing attack damage. Remember to watch for ganks though because you don't have much in the way of escape mechanisms. Your goal is to get the mid turret down by about 15 minutes or so.
Welcome to mid game. Time for all your farming to pay off. If you did a good job with last hitting you should be able to go back and buy a bloodthirster and finish your boots. Now that were in mid game you need to start getting some more beef to you. We do this by getting phage, it will carry you on your way to getting frozen mallet and give you health and a chance to slow. However we do not complete the whole frozen mallet yet, because it would take too long and we would fall behind on damage. So next buy another B.F sword and then buy frozen mallet. The biggest mistake I see people make is they rush frozen mallet as their first or second item causing them to fall behind severly on their damage output neglecting the fact that you are a carry. So buy your frozen mallet after your second B.F sword and then work your way onto a last whisper. This is a great item because it will help us with our lack of attack speed and will make those pesky tanks wish they bought hadn't bought so much armor.
Around this point you will be moving on to late game and you should be still farming everything you can get. You should try to finish up your second bloodthirster and then move on to the black cleaver. However the game would probably end before you get this far. If you did everything right you should carry your team to victory. Good Luck out there!
