Runes shouldn't be that hard of a thing to figure out if your not going crit ashe then go attack speed which you might as well build crit ashe :P

Masteries

yes masteries are a little irregular but with the high damage this supplies you'll find its easy to pick up a kill

Items

stay back with ashe that should be enough said your a carry champ you will get targeted but thats why your ranged kill them where they stand or get a team mate to help you out they're supposed to protect you anyway. you can get some other items for better survivability or whatnot but this has just served me well everytime....just watch out for those thornmails they will kill you

Farming

use your attack speed to farm try not to waste volley on minons its too useful to pick up a kill with volley (its kinda hard not to hit a champ with it)
