I played with a lot of champs... Mostly mages und to my way i´m thinking Anivia ist the best one. Even in early game its possible to nuke down your enemie. In late game its the best mage i´ve ever played...

Anivia is the pure AWESOMENESS

( [*] Doran´s Ring -> nice with top/bot laning, because of some ap for the beginning, some health and some manareg. But in mid its not necessary)
[*] Catalyst the Protector -> very good item for earlygame. It gives you a good mana and health pool (especially for Anvivia the mana pool is very important, because her abillities cost so much mana).
[*] Amplifying Tome -> I took this item very early, because I think it´s important to do some demage in early game to scare your enemies and with the 20 AP you should do some serious demage too (also without runes)
[*] Sorcerer's Shoes -> I think this is clear... For Anivia magic penetration is really important, because if you play smart your abillities do awesome demage and you can support your own demage with these boots.
[*] Tear of the Goddess -> gives you some mana regeneration and an extrrem high mana pool. And that is (as I said before) very important for Anivia.
[*] Rod of Ages -> Same reason as Catalyst... high mana and health pool and some AP
[*] Void Staff -> Have you bought this item? Okay... thats the point where you get UNSTOPABLE... Now your AP is not the lowest and you have an awesome value of magic penetration.
[*] Null-Magic Mantle/ Necatron-Mantle -> With low-lvl Anivias armor is... disgraceful but it raises much with lvl-up... now you need some magic resist... thats why i bought this item. If you want to, you can buy it earlier... but i think lvl 10-14 is okay
[*] Archangel's Staff -> this item gives you an awesome mana pool, good mana regeneration and a lot of AP
[*] Abyssal Scepter -> Same reason as Null-Magic Mantle... and some Ap and a great passiv... I think now we are at the point where you havent got any problems with any chmap... even tanks with a high magic resist MELT if you attack them
([*] Lich Bane -> Some magic resist, good abillity-power, awesome passive and... the reason why i took it ... 7% walk speed)
[*] Rabadon's Deathcap -> Okay... I think I dont have to explain this item... it gives you AWESOME AP and i think this is the best magic item in LoL
[*]Elixir of Brilliance -> Whenever you think... " I do not enough demage and my cooldowns are too high" buy this elixir... it costs not so much and gives you much AP and cooldown reduction

[*] Flashfrost (Q)
Thats your maine attack in early game when ever you can... DO IT! You press [Q] and let it fly towards your target press [Q] again to let it explode.
Flies it trough your target its just slowed and gets some demage... Thats called [chilled]... remember this word you will need it ;)
Explodes Flashfrost near to your enemie, he will be stunned, chilled and gets some more demagage.
The perfect attack with this skill should be:
fly trough your enemie (now he is chilled) and then its explodes close behind him (stunned)

[*] Crystallize (W)
I dont think its the most important skill of Anivia, but you know... you slow your enemie or stunn it... why the wall?
But nether the less we have it and in some situations its the best skill Anivia can have.
You can use it to escape (put it between you and your enemie and then... RUN)
You can use it to prevent your enemie to escape (put it into the movementdirection of your enemie)
Or you can use it to scout ( you can see into a bush with it)

[*] Frostbite (E)
Thats the skill you do the REAL demage with
REALLY IMPORTANT:
The abillity does not do so much demage... but if your target is chilled the demage is DOUBLED... with your whole AP and penetration this attack does awesome demage.

[*] Glacial Storm (R) [ULTIMATE]
Anivias Ultimate does not epic demage alone... but it has nearly no cooldown and you can have it activated until you havent got any mana :D
here its the same as with Flashfrost... her ulti chilles your enemie, so you do awesome demage again with Frostbite...
Nether the less you should try to prevent the enemie to escape out of your Ultimate (for example with Crystallize)

[*] Rebirth (Passiv)
Oh my God! Anivia has the best passiv in the whole game (my Opinion):
Upon dying, Anivia will revert into an egg. If the egg can survive for six seconds, she is gloriously reborn.
So use it... In early game it will be hard for your enemie to kill the egg fast, so play aggressivly.
This passiv will prevent you of dying... in early, mid and late game...
You will also survive many Ultimates of other champs when your teammates would die... like
KARTHUS - Requiem
ASHE - Enchanted Crystal Arrow
LUX - Finales Funkeln
EZREAL - Trueshot Barrage

Anivia is not the best jungler...
but in mid or late game its usefull to get the blue buff...
and thats it... others are not necessary
