Introduction

I use this build because of the mass of Cooldown Reduction. Soraka can spam Starcall, and make those much needed heals with great ease. Soraka was the first support I have ever played and if played correctly with a good adc, can end the match before they can surrender.

Items

This is a pretty standard starting support build. I choose the Kage's lucky pick over the Heart of gold only because it leads into your Morello's evil tome. Still serves the same purpose for the gold, but adds a bit of starting AP to the mix. The other items are multi-purpose. They give you much needed cooldown reduction, health, mana, and AP. The Aegis of the legion with Soraka's passive is very effective for reducing the AP carry on their team to scrap.

Skill Sequence

Simple to understand. You don't need to be spamming Starcall while your adc is trying to farm. You do need to heal them and prevent them from needing to leave lane. Enough said.

Summary

If a match lasts long enough for you to build fully, the other team will certainly be in for a treat. The ending cooldown reductions combined with your health and AP, should ensure your team a complete victory. Throughout the match Soraka can be not only a healer, but can easily clear waves of minions, as well as harass the enemy with the best of them. Although I believe Soraka is a great Champ, especially with this build, I do not recommend you charge into battle without your team. Soraka is still a support, and should be very happy with 20+ assists. Thank you for taking a look at my build. I hope that it serves well for anyone who wishes to use it.
