This is my first build, so any helpful feedback is welcome!
First off, this build focuses more on early harassment / farming ability early on with righteous gust and smite.
Once you are level 5 you can easily destroy the mage creeps and severely wound the melee with your spell combo. And for harassing the champs, I find gust to be an easier skillshot to start with, since it moves so much faster, and it also makes it easier to run in and hit them with smite then back off again, since smite is significantly harder to dodge when you are close due to it's slow travel time.
Then comes the fun with your ultimate, you should get at least 1 kill or two every use with this, just make sure your teammates are nearby to assist you with the killings.
I know that I am missing some items in the build, but that is what I consider to be a core nuke/support after that you want to start building up some survivability so that your ultimate isn't just a suicide button, so either build some more MR or AR and health, depends on what you are up against, so I didn't bother listing.
Will edit after I get some more games in with him, only managed a handful so far, goodluck!
I would also like to note that the early speed advantage that this build gives your team makes it easy to pick off people that over-extend do to the combined speed-up/slow-down of galio.
This build starts off squishy, so during laning phase just sit back and last hit and harass with your spells. I find it's easier to accumulate the wealth needed as a mage like build, and then work on tanky items once it's easy to farm.
