In light of the new patch notes, and using Gangplank for a while, I'm interested to find a new way of allowing for more early game damage, but still having a devastating late game. This isn't a guide on how to play Plank, or how to play Lol, but I'd just like to see what people say and what you would change, etc.. I want to edit it and come out with something beautiful.

Critical Damage runes are self explanatory, I don't believe mana regen shouldn't be as necessary due to the early game mana items, so I supplemented with straight CDR runes.

Not too much to say here, offensive with 9 in utility. If anything should be changed, you can point that point of greed somewhere else, or go with Perseverance over Good Hands, but I prefer Good hands. Perseverance blows..

Early game mana to harass/farm with your Parrlay, I put both boots because it depends on the team.. sometimes there's too much CC and you just have to have mercury treads. He already runs fast enough with movement speed items and Raise Morale, so I'd suggest Ionian for every other game.

I don't have much armor penetration, but that's because I don't plan on shooting the tank. If you see everyone building armor, sure, get a Last Whisper or something, but generally I aim for the carries and squishier people who are too busy building their Deathcap to worry about armor :)

This is just a basic Gangplank rough draft, I'd like some user input and will do more testing myself to get a feel for what works and whether that much mana is necessary. I plan on getting second opinions, and eventually if I complete the guide I will make it pretty and add sections on how to actually play with gangplank..
