This is my first build so don't be too nasty with me :)

!Gangplank is a 5v5 champ imo. But if you want, you can try this in 3v3. I just haven't had much luck in there :P

First i will explain the stuff:

Summoner spells:
Exhaust - Since Gang is pretty squishy it gives you a little edge when the fight goes head to head. Also helps against tower divers and when you really need to get the two last hits on someone.
Ghost - I prefer ghost but you can also use flash. Good for running away or chasing your opponent. Although ghost becomes rather useless when you get to the end stages of your build.

Runes:
Onehit that squishy! :D
Not much more to say about them.

Items:
Tear of the goddess - At first it might not work as good as some other mana regen items but after you have had it for a few levels you almost never OOM :)
Avarice Blade - Depending on how much money i have i usually get 1-3 in the beginning. Helps getting gold and also some crit chance. Later i just sell them. You can skip it if you want :)
2x Phantom - Mostly needed for the high crit chance. But the dodge rate has gotten me out of some hairy situations.
Infinity Edge - Make your crits even harder! :D After getting this, your Parrrley crits will be amazing.
Black Cleaver - Shoot a guy. He has more than half HP left. The second shot will end him :P
Frozen Mallet - This is my personal choice but you can get whatever you want after the cleaver. I just really hate it when someone gets away with 10hp.
PS! Yes i know i didnt buy any boots. You can if you want - i just see no use to them with gangplank :)

Sooo.... how do you play this build?
I start off with a Mana Cristal (To build Tear), Health Pot and Mana Pot.
I usually go to a lane with a tank or a range. Havn't solod with Gangplank.

Start off with harassing with Parrrley. If you manage to land a crit with it then you have a really good chance of taking the enemy down.
Try not to focus on minions at first, since Gang is pretty squishy.

If you OOM or run low on health go back. You should be able to buy the Tear and maybe even one or more Avarice Blades :)
Keep the Avarice Blades until your inv is full OR if you are short like 200g on a Phantom then sell one.

The next item to get is the Phantom Dancer. This makes you move alot faster and increases your crit chance ALOT.
At this stage it might still be abit hard to play against your opponents, but worry not. Once you get the Infinity Edge, it will be alot easier :)

Soo if the enemies havn't surrendered by now you should be able to get your next Phantom. Now your Parrrley is probably the strongest weapon in your team. 100% crit chance!

Now its time to make your Parrrley complete. The Black Cleaver. I have gotten a 1,7k crit at this stage.

Once you get the Frozen Mallet you can probably see the other allies killing the enemy nexus. If not, have as much fun as possible :)

For this build to work you need of course: A good team (peepz who call misses), a good laning partner and most of all - patience.

Hope this build works out for you as it does for me :)
