You both are absolutely correct. Since gangplank has been nerfed quite a lot in the past few months i find myself dieing over and over, still if you play him right you can achieve a high level of play. The difference is that the new characters introduced have been able to combat his skills and he is killed easily by champs like Darius. Thanks for your input guys, helped a lot! I hope riot can give him a boost.

^ agreed. I feel as if gangplank in general is just sub-par in the current meta. I used to love me some GP, but I have a hard time enjoying him lately.

Guide is too short, and critplank is sadly only reasonable in bot games or casual 10-person inhouse play where everybody messes around.
