Well, another great build by DEWO! I used it when i played Garen for first time, and it helped a lot! By the way, how did u instert those stamps into signature, and how did u made them clickable to get to a build?I wanted to do that in my sig too, but it's not enough space to simply insert 2 links ^^

Just to show how hard this build PWNS!!!( damnit can't get the picture in) But well did a 20/0/9 game :P Pwned their ***e's so if U wanna be an OP garen choose this build. And thanks alot for posting it ;:D

Garen has been nerfed for 3 patches in a row (4 even)

After all those nerfs on his survivability and his movement speed, do you think that this build is still viable?

I personally feel like a paper when I don't max courage first or/and i am not playing with defensive masteries.

I hope you don't mind when I am saying this but this build is very lackluster in comparison to some builds out there on Garen. I mean I get where this guide is coming from talking strictly from a DPS point of view. You are hoping, somewhat to keep the same damage output as you have in late game with your ridiculous Judgement in early game.
Say even if you were to keep that "dps" sort of presence, Black Cleaver, Last Whisper (especially since it affects abilities now) and Youmuu's would help you more than IE, BT regardless.
This build is like literally a glass canon, with lackluster DPS on Garen's main source of damage: Judgement. Any carry will outdamage you regardless so as well, even if you were to take the auto-attack route. If you put it this way that guide the other person did with 90%+ Crit Chance does more damage than these list of items in your build.
Once again, I hope you don't find offense in my remarks, but this is coming from someone who has tried your build well over in 40+ games and has 200+ games experience with Garen.
I would really appreciate if you were willing to rather release a Hybrid guide for him and I'd be willing to help you because believe me it yields much better results than Tank AND DPS Garen, I can assure you that. :)

Basically you have in a way saved me from 'loosing' my next 40 or so games trying dps builds. (I usually play as a 'soft' tank, 1-2 sunfire + swift boots then tanking items, or hard tank)

My problem arose after all those nerfs on garen (4 in a row geez)

Either the nerfs were too much or I have just entered a higher competition in my games (more players with runes, more skilled etc)

I don't feel like I can control my game anymore. The majority of my kills are due to enemy mistakes and not because my 'skills'. Suddenly more heroes can escape from me. I thought, wtf everyone is using speed runes now?

Then I remembered this 'small' nerf at the speed. Also the fact that now we are 'forced' to level courage first and we are loosing our decisive strike speed.

I feel that I am dying so much easier now. I feel like a paper compared to before.

All in all I have the feeling that Garen's early game is nerfed badly. I just don't know what to do anymore. I have lost my fun. So I started searching on dps builds. I thought maybe I am playing Garen wrong...

I am very glad that you are an experienced Garen player. Maybe you could give me some insight or your opinion over this whole nerf matter etc please?

Also maybe some tips on items for garen, masteries and runs? Thank you :)
