Hello. Welcome to my first guide. I have played Garen a lot and i have decided to write a guide for some of you that wants to have balanced build of Garen. It's not enormous damage dealer but it can hurt. This build will help you survive. So have fun !

I think there is no big words.
Mark of Desolation gives you great damage early game.
Seal of Resilience lets you survive more and more.
Glyph of Alcarity improves your attack speed because before you will have Phantom Dancer your Attack Speed is very very slow. The same with Quintessence. Garen desperately needs Attack Speed from the early game. Without it very often i was chasing a guy that was escaping with about 20 HP.

Firstly you must buy Boots of Speed. It's very important. Maybe more important than other things to buy it first. Why ? To chase or to escape.I don't think it needs more explanation. Without it of course maybe Garen is better with +Damage or +Defence but what will it help when you are slow and two enemy heroes are at your back? Next for the rest of starting money we buy health potion x 3. Why ? I know that Garen has ability to regen his health. But in early game it's very slow. So if you have health potions it means that you don't have to spend a lot of time to recover your health by the tower. Next like in other guides Doran Blade x2. It's cheap but it helps. More Damage and some of Life steal and of course +160 HP. And why next Cloth Armor? Because in that part of game you will need it. The additional +18 Armor will make great difference. Because your enemies are getting stronger you need to defend yourself. After that we buy BF Sword which gives us more damage. we need it. Next we buy Guardian Angel. Very useful. Additional Armor and Magic Resistance. Moreover it revives you from death making from you a real killing maschine. Next Infinity Edge for damage and Phantom Dancer to improve our Attack Speed.

Firstly like in other guides comes Judgement to hurt your enemies. It takes about 1/3 - 1/2 of enemy's health. Next skill is Decisive Strike for chasing and escaping. It really helps a lot because early game you have to chase your opponents very often. After that choose Courage. It can help you survive when you go into ambush or too close to enemy tower.

I recommend some of them but mostly:

Exhaust - Reduces movement and damage of the enemy. Using it wisely will make you very deadly.
Heal - Healing boost. You don't have to return to base very often because your HP regen + that spell lets you survive many fights and ambushes.

Ghost - improves movement speed. Ideal if you want to be more and more faster. To be sure that no one can escape you.

Your best lanemates : Ezrael , Jax, Ashe.
There are no such thing like worst enemies. Play carefully. Don't chase enemy to his tower when he has stun. Because very soon you will be dead man. Help your team. Don't attack bunch of enemies first. You should get into fight second or later. You are not a tank(in this build). Have Fun and feel free to comment this guide.
