Infinity Edge should be not be in the main build considering that the item is to situational, Randuin's Omen is usually a better pick. Not to say Infinity Edge is bad on Garen not at all, but the risk in taking Infinity Edge is that, due to its expensiveness, it will be hard to get the gold for it, and it also means that you sacrifice a significant amount of tankiness.

too tanky, and there are MUCH better items than Youmuu's Ghostblade for Garen.

i love garen but as pure dps with loads of sustainability he is so op that way! same runes save mine are the ad/lvl Quints. went 17/0/3

I'd have to say good guide, but want to input a few things, in terms of enemy team composition (ranked and draft) you'll want to change your boots and summoner spells accordingly, if you are solo top you should take teleport if you are unsure whether or not you will be able to win the lane/keep up with ganks, if nobody on your team has ignite and they have somebody like mundo or volibear it would be worth taking. in terms of items your picks are pretty good, but the FoN could be replaced by a BV if they have a heavy burst caster like leblanc or even for blocking abilities such as fizz's fish (doesn't remove fish but forces it to drop to the ground). if they have heavy CC you might want to pick up merc treads to help you power through the enemy teams stuns and disables. other than these few points good guide.
