This is a AP Gargas build with some tank items to keep him stay in his usually range of health as if you were to go sunfire gargas :S.

Begining Game:
I grab clarity to keep mana up cause if you are using barrel roll right you should need that spell plus the mana potion and i grab ignite well its ignite great for low health enemies.
Grab boots of speed and one of each potion for start game. When using barrel roll try to place it behind the enemy if they act like most they will run right into it. A handey tip for barrel roll it to know that when it gets to where you throw it you can hit q again to set it off. By 13 mins you should have enough gold to go back and grab a philosopher's stone if you haven't been recalling 2 or 3 times. You should also be lvl 6 or so use drunken rage before entering any battle (basicly use it every time its off cooldown no mana cost FTW). Body slam is a nice get away skill along with slowing enemies but if you hit anything it stops you can also use body slam to go through the terrain. Last Gargas's ult explosive cask when this hits the ground any enemies in the blast are thrown in the direction the are of the barrel when it explodes. This skill is great for keeping enemies in range of you allies or throwing ennemies from almost dead allies.

Mid Game:
By middle game you should have got the ninja tabi and void staff now and working on Aegis of the Legion for health and armor a good substitue for this is Force of Nature if the other team has a lot of spellcasters.
To help in Team fights try to position your barrel roll as close to the enemies as possible to deal out as much max damage as you can with it another thing is to start the battles off by throwing you explosive cask to break up their group and/or to throw one them towards you and your allies to get an easy kill.

End Game:
By this time in game you should usually have a abyssal scepter and maybe a spirit visage if you are luckey. Now by now your team should have taken out all the towers except for the nexus to help finish go kill baron if you need it if not just go with one more good push and show them how Gargas does a BARREL ROLL!!!
