Post reserved for updates and stuff.

April 16th UPDATE: Added a massive "situational items" section, and fixed up a few minor things. Thanks for the comments guys, more to come!

April 23rd UPDATE: Added a picture I found amusing in a short section I made on Wriggle's Lantern. This was just a small update, I'll add more later.

Well written and great guide!

You can also add on more situations as you describe in your guide. Like when to get tankier, when to get more damage, etc!

You can also add on a section for ganking and how to do it properly. Maybe you can even add on some videos or pics!

Great guide!

****** build!!!!!!!!

no it's not...
Anyways~, at "This is the part where I talk about abilities." I was like =="
You should improvise it.
For example "In this section, I would talk in detail about the abilities, and in which timing you should use them. This section should give you an understanding of how useful and effectively these abilities can be used". Or something like that. Ok, my example may not be great, but I think you could improvise it more.
There are other sections that you may want to improvise, but fairly good guide!

Thanks to Arcana3 for making this awesome sig! :)

+1 This guide is well written, the build is solid and I like how you include helpful tips in the red writing. I play skarner a lot and some of them I didn't even know yet. Also your section on Impale was very well detailed. An ultimate that powerful need a lot of knowledge to use it properly, and you covered just about everything I would say to a new Skarner player. GJ!

The guide is well written even though I think that my beloved skarner is MUCH better as a tanky champ thanks to his high base HP and high base AD. I used to build him this way, but IMHO building Frozen Heart or Randuins Omen in stead of Trinity force and build only sheen is better than rushing Tri-force right away.

Skarner is amazing jungler and I found out that it is in fact better (hp wise) to take fracture on lvl two than crystaline. fracture heals a lot in your first jungling phase. It is kinda worthless othervise but I scored a few good kills with it(it was hilarious:D).

I like your impale part. I would suggest one more little tip. That is: try to reverse your movement right before the end of impale to stand in between you and his escape route because this way you can slow him one more time for sure and then finish him.

This guide is written well, I don't know what you're talking about. It covers a lot of information.

Alright seems like a pretty good guide overall (+1 from me), but here are a couple recommendations: (A) Make this guide comment to vote, it prevents many voters from down-voting without giving feedback. Many will not troll vote if it requires commenting. (B) I would buy a Heart of Gold after Philo Stone, so you still have a gp5 making you profit. (C) You rush the Gunblade much too early, save it for after Banshee's Veil or something. In a teamfight you won't be tanky enough with a gun blade alone. Hope I helped, and have a wonderful day!

Did I review your guide? If I did, consider reviewing one of my guides.
Do you have any questions about my review or any questions in general? Feel free to PM me, I'd be glad to answer.

+1 good guide!

this guide is well written and coded. think for the pros/cons section, you should delete the extra "//" that appear. those were to be replaced with your pros and cons. think you can talk a bit more about situational items and also counterjungling and all. also turn on require comment to vote.

keep up the good work~
