Well there are some invalid points to your argument there RealmRider.

1. Starting with Doran's Blade is a viable option because combined with the lifesteal from that, and your masteries, you will be getting a decent amount of sustain. I don't agree that he starts with Doran's Blade. Btw, no item costs 4,000 gold. They all go under 3500, so that point is invalid. I think he should start with Boots of Speed + 2 Health Potions + 1 Mana Potion, but that is my opinion. Just because the cheat sheet says it, doesn't mean you have to follow it. Your items will ALWAYS depend on the enemy team composition. For example, they have these:

Since we are AD bot lane, we will be needing Boots of Speed + 3 Health Potions because Varus has Piercing Arrow, and we will need to be dodging it. Since Soraka gives him mana, he has almost an unlimited mana pool. The Health Potions are for when you fail to dodge the Piercing Arrows. Here is an enemy team composition where starting Doran's Blade is a good idea:
We are going to be up against Vayne + Janna combo. Here is where Doran's Blade is good start. Since Vayne's Tumble does roughly around 30 physical damage (excluding her base AD). We can't miss out the 100 health from Doran's Blade. Lets say we are against that team, but this is your composition:
Since Soraka has Infuse + Astral Blessing, we won't be needing Boots of Speed + 3 Health Potions because Soraka provides the sustain and utility you need to succeed in lane. Btw, if you read his guide, you would see that he has 2 starting routes. Read before you comment please.

2. I don't like that he has Ignite either. But due to the enemy usually being partnered with let's say these 2: Sona or Soraka. They provide a lot of sustain to their carry, which makes Ignite more viable in this composition. Heal is a lot better spell for AD carries, but that is just my opinion.

3. Your grammar isn't that bad. I speak 6 languages and I have good English grammar, even though it isn't my native language either. Besides that, with 21-9-0 + Doran's Blade, you will be getting a nice sustain. Now, Boots of Speed + 3 Health Potions are preferred when running this setup, but yeah. I give you kudos for getting that part. Most ad carries are slow, so maybe running Boots of Swiftness is an option if the enemy team is doing really bad.

4. Infinity Edge doesn't cost 4k gold. It costs roughly 3150 gold. I do agree with you where he should get Vampiric Scepter before buying it completely so he has a better chance of staying in lane, and winning 1v1 fights. You are like albableat, you don't play AD carries, but you know much about them. I give you kudos as well for arguing that point effectively.

5. I have a problem with his colouring as well, but it makes his guide look pretty and catches the reader's attention throughout the guide.

I do wanna argue one point just because it's such a common mis-conception.

Vampiric Scepter before Infinity Edge does not necessarily enable you to control your lane better. It's only 450 gold which means you will likely get it at the same time you finish your infinity or just barely after. The infinity edge, when completed, adds such immense burst damage to your auto attacks that you force the enemy out of the fight 10x faster than if you did not have the item complete, this means you take 10x less the damage over time...adding a form of sustainability as well as complete control of your lane, provided you have a support, which is what this build is for. Note, that I do not anywhere state this build is for roaming around on your own, this is for bot lane graves in the current meta which is with a support and as the main damage source on your team...this is where most, less experienced players, incorrectly judge this guide.

Interesting point. Maybe you should buy a second Doran's Blade after you complete your shoes?

If you lack the ability to control your lane with your primary role, straight damage, then you can go ahead and build whatever form of sustain you want, I include options but if you need to adjust it, then do it, this build is the optimal build for you to aim for, if you can't pull it off, then work towards it at your own pace, that's all there is to it, lmao.

I didn't read the previous comments, sorry if this has been said already.

With my experience of ranged ad carries (mostly Ezreal and more recently Draven), what seems to work best when faced by a really tough lane/getting shut down/etc. is multiple doran's blades (as you mentioned already in the guide) and also a phage. This item really helps because you are getting AD, which is always good, you are getting a slow for catching those pesky runners, AND you get a 225 HP boost which will almost guarentee an easier laning phase. Heart of gold is also a pretty good alternative in my opinion. Great guide by the way! :D

I only start Doran's Blade if Soraka is my support. Even then, I'm still obliged to do so unless it's a heavy harass/kill lane.
