Introduction (Lore N Stuff)
For those who brave the harsh seas of Runeterra, attaining one's own ship and crew is the pinnacle of success. Sarah Fortune, a well-respected (some would say legendary) bounty hunter from Bilgewater, was able to achieve this feat just after her sixteenth birthday, etching out her name as the go-to gal for resolving special troubles. No bounty was too difficult or too dangerous for her feminine charm and her renowned use of her twin pistols, ''Shock and Awe''. Her success gave her the means to legitimately purchase her own ship... with a little flirtatious haggling, of course. Things weren't always so fortunate for Miss Fortune, though. When she was young, trade ships began to dot the horizon of her quiet home in the northern shores of Blue Flame Island's largest chunk. Trade routes brought piracy, and the inhabitants soon found themselves caught in a frenzy of pillage.
One day, young Sarah returned home to hear gunshots and screaming. Her front door was smashed open; inside, she saw her mother lying in a pool of blood. A sudden blow to her head made her collapse next to her slain mother. The last thing she could remember were her attacker's red eyes, as his face was blocked by a rogue's bandana. Miss Fortune has a strong distrust for pirates and she finds herself constantly bickering with the infamous Gangplank (the only captain to resist her charms) over the direction of Bilgewater politics. Her two goals: to unite the people of Bilgewater, making them into a strong and independent society, and to find the pirate who killed her mother. To that end, she has entered the League of Legends as a champion, trading her skills for the wealth and influence that will help her accomplish both.

Because I have to assume you have no idea what you're doing, and that's the reason you're looking at this guide, I have to start out with the most simple things that most people might already know. If you're one of those players, you can either skim through this until you find something you didn't know, or just skip the whole thing and start out on a completely different section. Anyways, for the few who are learning from step 1, here's to you.
Miss Fortune, and many other ADC'S rely on good positioning. Pretty much all of Miss Fortunes speed comes from her passive, Strut (which I gave details about in the "Abilities" section if you need to take a look at it again. It really isn't too hard to position yourself with Miss Fortune because she has pretty great range for basic attacks (which is why I included the basic attack build). Try to keep your passive for as long as you can in fights so you can chase down the last few enemies if you ever need to.
Just like pretty much every champion you'll ever play, Miss Fortune has some pretty basic combos that are easy to remember and cast.
A pretty well known combo for Miss Fortune is to use your "Make it Rain" or "E" ability to slow down the enemy followed up by a use of her ultimate "Bullet Time" to get the most out of your ultimate ability.
Also, something that I like to do with Miss Fortune is save my "Double Up" or "Q" ability to last hit champion kills because of the amount of damage it puts out. it also helps pick up double kills wherever there might be 2 champions low on health.
A good thing to remember is to activate your "Impure Shots" or "W" ability if the enemy is able to heal in anyway because it reduces their healing affects drastically. this will either pick up kills quick, or just force them to back out of lane and miss farm constantly.
Counters are a pretty big deal with Miss Fourtune since her ultimate ability is easily cancled with crowd control effects. Sometimes you'll find yourself not being able to use it for more than a second. sometimes even less. here's a list of counters at bot lane that you will most likely encounter.
Now, most of these champions can actually be obliterated at bot lane to win the lane once you get used to playing Miss Fortune and possibly find a pretty decent support to help you out at bottom lane. the only thing you can do early game is try to dodge all the cc you can before you use your ultimate. But later in game, after you build your banshees veil, it really helps a lot to keep that ultimate running for a full duration. And actually, Vayne doesnt really counter you bad at all because you have much more range than her. I only put Vayne in as a counter because if I vayne is played right, she can possibly counter Miss Fortune easily, mostly though, it's the other way around.
Builds are so important in game. so here's a brief description to the builds I put above.
GOING HAM AS **** BUILD
For this build, you will tear through armor with abilities and you have a little magic resist just in case which is always good for miss fortune. Try to have the best positioning possible in team fights and get everyone in your ult range. With this build, you can even make Shen look like he's squishy. Just make sure you don't let the enemy team get to you easily or cancel your ultimate cause it really messes you up if they do. If the enemy team decides to flash out of your ult, don't worry. They wont have flash back before you get your next ult back.
