Not Updated For Current Season
The masteries shown here are not yet updated for the current season, the guide author needs to set up the new masteries. As such, they will be different than the masteries you see in-game.
So not a lot of people play Urgot and it should be obvious why...no clear good build has been created yet. I think I've changed that with this build.
So I go mostly utility for the speed benefit and the cooldown reductions. Using this build, you'll be spamming that blade of death like mad. The other nine in the offense are just bonus for the attack damage. My runes focus on cooldown, armor pen, and health for survivability for those of you who know how devastating it can be to use his ult.
When you start the round, you'll want to use your NCC (Noxian Corrosive Charge) to hit the enemy champions so they flee from hitting the minions. You can shoot this outside of the indicated range circle to a certain point so that's a bonus. You'll do this to starve the enemy of leveling and gold until you get AH (Acid Hunter) at level 2. Now you become the most hated person in your lane and maybe the game. If you don't know already, shooting AH at someone affected by NCC will automatically target them if your cursor is over them so it's not really a skill shot because it will just seek that person avoiding any champions or minions in the way. Plus, if you bubble yourself with TC (Terror Capacitor) before you launch your AH at the enemy, they'll become slowed leaving more time for you to slap them around.
So at this point it should be obvious that you have the most lethal range because you can NCC, AH, and then back off without having to deal with hitting anything but your marked target. And most times for me I don't back off quick near towers because usually by the time they reach the tower you have one final hit to make and then you can flash and ghost to get the hell outta' there.
One final note before I wrap this up, don't be afraid to use your HPR (Hyper-Kinetic Position Reverse). I know the thought of switching the enemy can be scary because you're throwing yourself closer to the enemy threshold but this is by far the most number one ability in the game for mid 5's, and top 3's. You get the armor and magic res. buff plus you're throwing the enemy back and if you bubble yourself during the switch (which you can) you can immediately slow them down with your combo AND they'll be thrown further away from their safe zone leaving you plenty of time to kill them.
I have not had a bad time with Urgot whether my team won or lost. Everytime I've lost I've always AT THE VERY LEAST been equal on the K/D ratio, never negative. If I win I'm usually 10/2.
Welcome feedback and I hope this works for you as well as it does for me.
