You're no longer updating. The guide is becoming out of date.

Wont vote because I have my own Kat guide, but yeah, needs a LOT more organization. It's really messy and attempting to skim it is fruitless.

Hey, okay guide, I won't be whining about the wall of text since I don't mind it, since you have titles.
On thing I wonder is the maxing for Q first though, I got a lot of hate on my when I posted a guide maxing out Q first, and I must say I maxed W first after that and found it pretty good.
With Q you will be able to poke more and take long distance creeps earlier, however with W maxed first you can farm good too (higher dps + short CD) it is also fairly good ranged, and if you really get in trouble early game vs a gank you can always shimpo out. Also as soon as you reach level 6 I love to jump in on my enemy and do a Q+E++W+R combo, sometimes killing the enemy and sometimes just getting them low, W has a much better damage output for this.

I did not vote by the way since I don't see it as a very good guide but not as a bad one either so I think it's rated okay like this

lol If you read the guide and actually knew what you were talking about, you would know why.
Please don't downvote out of stupidity.

Thanks :)
Yea, maybe I should do some more work on guide design but I'm not quite sure what I should do to make it better. I feel like no matter what I do to it, it will still be a block of text just in a different format, because the information in here can only be explained through such a way.
But I'll look into ways I can make it easier to read. :)

Personally i like it but after awhile of reading it felt liked just a block of text. So i ended up having to zome back and reread it again later, but overall very detail and quick and straight to the point. its a great guide. and my only really complaint was the layout otherwise great job

Yea, sorry if it doesn't look pretty but I tried to take all the useless information and fluff out of the guide and just put the information I felt important. I see way too many guides that have so much time spent on making them look pretty yet the quality of the information is very poor.
I'm not too worried about my guide looking pretty, as long as the people who really want the information can find it, and I think I have it organized enough with the proper sections and headers for each section that people can find what they want easily enough.

I'm a little confused though, why couldn't you comprehend my guide? It doesn't seem poorly organized to me. There are the section links at top, each section has a title that explains itself well and each section has subheaders to explain each part of the section. Then the information.

But to be honest, I don't agree with your build orders.
I could see rushing Abyssal being alright, but that would only be situational-- say if you're having trouble against your enemy AP mid and the other team is starting to build MR. Otherwise, I think that Rabadons is still better to rush for the burst damage.
Rabadons gives more burst and damage, and generally by the time I have it built the enemy team has little to no MR being built that early. If they were though, abyssal could work. Even so, I think Rabadons still gives more damage.

Hextech USED to give more damage early on Katarina than Rabadons, but that was back before Gunblade nerfs and Katarina changes. Now, I usually hold off on Gunblade for awhile to better counter build my opponents.

But I'll experiment some with rushing Abyssal Scepter and give it more of a chance, and let you know on my findings.

No vote from me because I could barely comprehend your guide. It's poorly organized. It's a wall of text. I primarily clicked this guide to see if you rushed gunblade. Since you didn't, this guide is passable. I've been playtesting a lot of katarina lately, and I can tell you that almost every game it is highly optimal to rush an abyssal after revolver. I've tried gunblade rush, hextech-abyssal rush, hextech-rabadons rush, and hextech-abyssal rush. Of these 4. I put them in this order:
1. boots, hextech, abyssal
2. boots, hextech, rabadons
3. boots, hextech, gunblade
4. boots, hextech, deathefire
