Excuse me for my bad english, please!
Why I focused on damage runes is because he is kind of useless early game without it.
I prefer cooldown reduction glyphs pr. level because you'll get many ghouls as you use spells and your triforce will proc. and you'll get an ghoul army++moar lifesteal, slow and speed).
I picked armor seals because you'll benefit from it against Attackdamage champions who for an example, deny you from getting Minion kills.

OFFENSE
-Deadliness for some more dps and Archmage's Sawy because you don't have anywhere else to put your talent(unless you prefer exhaust as your summoner spell).
-You'll need Sorcery for cooldown reduction(As I said before, you'll need it because it both procs triforce and you'll have yourself and ghoul army++lifesteal, slow and speed). Then I picked Alacrity for more attackspeed=moar DPS! :O
-Archaic Knowledge for your "Omen of Famine" spell which deals magic damage. Sunder for armorpenetration, you'll find it usefull against everything as your prior damage is Attackdamage.
-Brute Force for MOAR damage.
-Higher crits are allways nice, thats why I picked Lethality.
-Havoc is great because it gives you a bonus of 4ยค attack and magic damage.
UTILITY
-Perseverence for more hp/mana regen and Haste for your ghost, its good to cath up to people with it so you can use your "Omen of War" or "Omen of Pestilence" to stay on your target.
-Awareness for more xp which will give you a lead on spellranks if your oponent does not have any experience boost of some sort.
-Utility for longer buff durations as red buff is great for you and your team to both: catch up to peaople and run away if you use your "Omen of Pestilience" to slow your enemy. The blue buff is allways nice for both cooldown reduction and mana regeneration which will give you many oportunities to use your "Omen of Pestilience" to slow in teamfights.

I chose a Trinity force build because I thought he was best suited for this.
Attackspeed boots for more dps, but if you meet a team with lots of stuns and crowd controll abilities I would recoment tenacity boots.

Since he is kind of squishy and lacks for survivial as a melee in group fights I chose warmogs and Atma's Impaler for addiotional HP, HP-Regen, Armor, Damage and Crit.
I chose infinity edge as an last opinion if your dps ain't keeping up.

As if it was an poppy build you should get your burst spell ranked up quite quick. In this case its "Omen of War" also known as your ability assigned the keybinding "Q". You'll get a minor lifesteal using your "E"(Omen of Famine) spell when you popp it, also when the "E" spell is activated on a target it summons a ghoul which will heal you for the damage dealth by it for 5 secounds.
Your "W" spell is mostly used to catch up to people early. It slows the enemy, and since you'll get Phage so early in the game its not very usefull untill you stumble upon Team-fights.

Ghost is quite good to both catch up to people and run away from them.
Ignite is for the extra dps to secure the kill.
Exhaust is good if you come against highly focused melee/Attackdamage champions.
Flash is also very good, but I prefer ghost for this chamipon.
You wouldn't need the other summonerspells compared to ghost and ignite... With this build you're a bit more of an assassin and or an engager.
