A build that has a chance of working. Try to rethink the masteries - although the bonus health potian at the start is always nice, its not worth it in the long run. Hecarim can run through the jungle on Cloth Armour and 5x Health Potions, I have even just gone Boots and 3x Pots. If you prefer your masteries YOUR way, tell us why in the masteries section. Why do you prefer the added gold, experience etc instead of more damage or tankiness. Read through some other guides on other champions to get a feel for what sort of justification your looking for.

Item wise - you go for Warmogs, Maw of Malmortius and Frozen Mallet - but where is the Atmas Impaler? You can gain some wonderful stats from this item - Crit Damage that syncs with your Trinity Force, Armour which makes you tankier and free damage from all those health items you have bought (depending on how much health you have late game probably around a bonus 60 AD).

I have seen some AP Hecarims and a lot of AD Hecarims, but never a Hybrid. His AP scalings are just too low for it to work. If you want to show people how to play AP Hecarim, add another champion build at the top.

Try finding some screen shots or something to make your build a little easier on the eyes - its very simple.

That is all. I havent voted yet, because to me the guide look incomplete.

Best guide ever written. Just played a ranked match and went 21/0/9. Hecarim OP.

Alright, thanks for the insight Haveagoodorange, I'm currently redoing masteries and thinking more on the runes as well (i.e. I want to replace the glyphs but I'm not sure with what). I have also added Atma's to the build but would that mean to get rid of Wriggle's?

Wriggles, primarily, should be an early game to mid game item. Only in special occasions would you want to keep it until the end of the game. Situations such as the support for your team not warding enough, and so you save gold by receiving a free ward every 3 minutes.

Towards you item order, maybe say in the Items section, that buying Frozen Mallet, then Atmas, then Warmogs Armour if you are having a good game - gold wise. This gives you more health and armour than other basic bruisers that other who would buy damage items first, and more damage than bruisers who go for defensive items first, as it is hybrid of the two. Of course, Atmas last it also viable, as sometimes the damage is negligible without proper items before hand (this shouldn't be a problem as Trinity Force and Frozen Mallet give a large amount of health together).

Your masteries have drastically improved. try considering 9/21/0 or 21/9/0 as supplementary masteries, as some people prefer offensive masteries to defensive and utility.

The only other criticisms I can give are depth. You could add some more depth to the guide. But that is not something that can be done straight away - it does take time. Just go through and individually say why you chose that item, that mastery or that rune. Give secondary rune, mastery and item choices. You already have in the items, but some more in the other subjects would drastically improve the quality and enjoyability of the guide.

Good job so far :)
