Introduction - Working Build
This is the first guide i will publish her on mobafire, I wrote a Teemo guide a few weeks ago but havent published it yet.
So anyway, this will be a speedguide, getting updated as write and find out more about the newest champion. Comments are apperciated and any suggestions will be taken in consideration and evaluated, hopefully ending up in forming this guide to a good base for new Hecarim players.
ItĀ“s obvious already without having played him, that he will most likely be a highly viable jungler, but iĀ“m going to focus on playing him solotop for starter, with damage in focus the first few games, and a more heavy offtank approach in later games. The jungle-part will be covered last.
Anyway, hope you guys enjoy, iĀ“m going to read more about his abilities and do some calculations to come up with the build, masteries and runes i will start with in my first game.
GhostI think this has to be the better choice here, it still adds mobility, only in a different way than flash, and at the same time it gives you some extra damage for that last hit when the enemy tries to run away.
TeleportNo comment, you simply donĀ“t go solotop without it, the tower is your responsibility and you have to know you can always get there in time when needed so you dont loose that first tower early.

I canĀ“t get up any "warding" runes in the list, but the seals of warding are supposed to be Glyph of Magic Resist . Adding more info later
So, the first thing i reacted to here, was his W spell, which is awesome and would be the reason to make him an awesome jungler.
Spirit of DreadSince the % dmg returned as health is not based on AP, any ap items become more or less useless on hecarim, since it returns healing based on damage dealth within the area, you can still deal tons of damage with AD and getting massive health back.
So, pure AD, makes everything a little more simple =)
Anyway, hereĀ“s what im suggesting for a starter, will try it out right after this gets posted and then update:
Cloth Armor & Health Potionx5
Why not boots? Well, boots are awesome, and it would seem logical since he scales with bonus movement speed, but honestly, that isnĀ“t very usefull at level 1 giving you 5-6 damage extra every now and then. We want sustain, farm, and most of all, Wrigglers Lantern.
Dont B until you can afford this, or preferably not until you can afford this and boots.
Wriggle's Lantern
As I see it now, this has to be sick for Heracim, it adds to your lifesteal and just imagine what a nice healthboost if you get a few proccs on the lantern? A free long-lasting ward every now and then & some extra armor & damage is pretty damn good for that cost =)
Boots of Swiftness
Since my highest damage threat will be my Rampage, i wanĀ“t to make sure that noone can run away from me so i can hit with it every time and harass. Obviously itĀ“s good for my passive aswell, but thatĀ“s actually not the main reason here.
[boots of mobility]] are also a wise choice, especially if you plan on roaming alot or jungling.
yoummuuĀ“s ghostblade
Now you are more or less impossible to get away from and you should be a hell of a fast ganker!
Infinity Edge
Get this one after, is a must have if you want to be dealing sweet damage, especially with the phantom dancer weĀ“re getting right after.
Phantom Dancer
Bloodthirster (Sell your lantern to afford this one, or keep it and sell it when you get guardian angel)
Guardian Angel
I havenĀ“t went in on detail anywhere yet, this is the build iĀ“m going tro try my first game hopefully going solotop. IĀ“ll get back to this after i tried it a few times!
