Tips on Playing

The most of your problems playing Hecarim is simply Skill and understanding how to play him. I have 10 simple tips everyone can follow for an ENJOYABLE experience playing HECARIM!!!!!

#1: Only play him as a Jungler, (untill they un-nerf his Q & W, which they shoulda never nerfed anyways. Stupid beta fools ruined his initial power)

#2: Start at Red buff and look for lvl 2 ganks if you see one then lvl your E if not get W and continue to jungle. Lazard Buff will help you jungle faster, and by you won't need the man till you actually get to getting blue.

#3: Buy Boots and LVL Q this lvl 1 combo is really strong and have had really good results when both teams wanna fight for jungle.

#4: When Ganking Don't run in with your Devastating Charge if your not sure if they have used their flash or have their getaway move off CD. wait to see how they react to your presence.

#5: Always Run past them smashing Q-Rampage and only auto attack when you're infront of them.

#6: Use his ultimate to getaway or Secure a kill, not to initiate a fight.

#7: When a team fight breaks out, Charge in with your E and aim for a mage or ad carry, preferably the mage since you will have more armor to survive the rest of the damage.

#8: after the fight is going on, DO NOT activate your W untill you're actually taking heavy damage. this skill is also very team comp dependent. I found Karthus and Kennen capable of making him live beyond means he shouldn't have.

#9: As I said earlier his ult is best saved for that one momment in a fight where chaos is going on and a few of them bunch up, thats when you ride out and scare the life out of them to finish the fight. this burst plus your Q will make them flee from the fight. another good reason to save it for this moment is if the fight is not in yoru teams favor you have your escape in the bag.

#10: Be fluid with the items you get and pay attention to what the enemy has in order to do this. If you don't you will overestimate your capabilities and you will die.



I really like Hecarim's design so I've made the effort to play him, learn, and grow, regardless of how they screwed him over upon release.
