Hello, my name is Jake, and this is my favorite build for Hecarim. With this build he is very much a bruiser, and can be altered to be tankier or have more DPS. The stats above are not 100% correct and i will address this in the chapter titled Items.

Pros -
Capable of taking lots of abuse
Very strong late game
Can act as main tank
Long sustainability
Good with Ganks
Works with team well

Cons -
Depends on strong early game
Weak before level 6
Gets targeted

Runes, as with most characters can and should be adjusted to your liking, this is a guide and should be altered where needed.

As with Runes they should be adjusted to your liking, I choose the ones that I did because they suit Hecarim well for bruising the opponents!

The Items I would suggest following closely. They are very well suited for Hecarim playing as a bruiser. Hexdrinker can be switched out with something more damage suitable when all other items are bought, but often times it is not needed or the game has already ended. Please take into account that some of the item's passive abilities do not show up on the calculator above. For instance, Hecarim's movement speed with be over 470, and the damage from his passive will bring about 227 damage total.

This has worked best for me as i play Hecarim. You can adjust this but may not bring as good ganking or farming abilities.

Hecarim is quite a good farmer. Between Rampage and Spirit of Dread you should take waves of minions with ease. Be sure to take advantage of this as the quicker you get your items the more *** you can kick!

Although capable of it, Hecarim is not the strongest jungler. He can easily be out jungled and it is difficult to gank before level 6. If insistent on jungling, you may add a Wriggle's Lantern.
