seem to excel at the Offtank-AD/AP role. I play him as a top laner, his also a very strong jungler.
He seems very strong at the moment with his massive range on his ult and his spammable Q skill, So, lets gets to it :)
Greater Mark of Desolation
These are awsome! as i dont get any ArP Items or masteries, these seems to be the perfect choice.
Alternate Runes could be: Greater Mark of Strengh,
As you are top, you will most of the times fight aginst AD wich deals PHYSICAL damage and these helps in that part, it also reducde minon damage so you can trade more safely.
Alternate Runes could be: Greater Seal of Vitality
These are also very good, as many AD top champs spell deals MAGIC damage.
Alternate Runes could be:
Greater Quintessence of Desolation Same Reasons as for Marks :)
For masteries i run the 0/21/9, getting all the MOVEMENT speed bonus i can. While makeing me durable so i will be a bit tougher when going for the early sheen, Extra armor and magic resistance is always good. so is health and health regain. Not much to more about this really :)
You are going to head to top lane to face your opponent!
Starting Items: Offtank - AD build.
Take this setup when faceing heavy early game damage.
Take this when going for a more passive lane, were trades are more equal.
And x4 (Just wait in base for the 4th)
Take this setup when going agressive in lane, your speed will make you able to hit them, get out and heal up with pots if needed.
Philosopher's stone: This item is AMAZING, it gives Mana Regain AND health Regain also gives a few extra gold per second.
GET THIS BADBOY! Its perfect for Hercarim, With his he will be getting sheen stacks likes theres no tommorw, its perfect.
This is like , just even better! extra health, and damage and movementspeed (even more damage!) and attack speed.. its just too good to pass up to! IT FITS PERFECT!
I like this item alot, even more so on [Hecarim], With this AND his W he can start doing some serious AoE dmg.
You will have a quite a bit HP already, So this fits perfect! Armor, crit AND more damage!
Health Regain, Movement speed (=Damage), Magic Resist..PERFECT! it fits just PERFECT! not much more to say about this FANTASIC item!
Now, you are very tanky (3.k hp, 150+ Amor and MR) So, why not put extra salt into the wound with this? More dmg AND crit. its Wonderfull!
Its also very nice, with the Cooldown Reduction and all that, and extra mana is also very awsome. and lets not forget 99 armor AND an attack speed reduceing aura. Its awsome, i just prefer , Becouse its cheaper.. and i just like it!
Also, an awsome item Cooldown Reduction, slows moment speed AND attack speed, gives health.. Again AWSOME item, i just prefer
Health and Mana and magic resist, oh and free spell shield every 45 seconds.
Gives MR, a nice spell bobble, more AD wich increases the lower HP you are, great alternate for Egde if they are very magic heavy.

Hecarim cleaves nearby enemies for 50/85/120/155/190 (+ ) physical damage. (50% damage to minions and monsters)
If Hecarim damages at least one enemy with this attack he gains a stack of Rampage, reducing the base cooldown of this skill by 1 second for a short duration. This effect can stack up to 2 times.
Cost 25 Mana
- Hecarim deals magic damage to nearby enemies for a short duration. Hecarim gains health equal to a percentage of any damage those enemies suffer.
Hecarim deals 80/125/170/215/260 (+0.8) magic damage over 4 seconds to all nearby enemies. Hecarim is healed for 10/15/20/25/30% of the damage these enemies take from any source.
Hecarim cannot heal more than 60/90/120/150/180
Cost 50/60/70/80/90 Mana
- Hecarim gains increasing movement speed for a short duration. His next attack knocks the target back and deals additional physical damage based on the distance he has traveled since activating the ability.
Hecarim gains increasing movement speed for 4 seconds. His next attack knocks the target back dealing 40/75/110/145/180 (+ ) to 80/150/220/290/360 (+ ) physical damage based on how far Hecarim has traveled during Devastating Charge.
Cost 60 Mana
- Hecarim summons spectral riders and charges forward, dealing magic damage in a line. Hecarim creates a shockwave when he finishes his charge dealing additional magic damage to nearby enemies causing them to flee in terror.
Hecarim summons spectral riders and charges forward, dealing 100/200/300 (+0.8) magic damage to anyone they strike.
Hecarim releases a shockwave when he finishes his charge dealing an additional 50/125/200 (+0.4) magic damage and causing neaby enemies to flee from Hecarim for 1 seconds.

Warpath - Hecarim ignores unit collision and gains attack damage equal to a percentage of his bonus movement speed.
Max Q,It gives the most damage out of any thing.
After that, max W for more AoE damage and healing. MAX THIS FIRST IF GOING AP! THANKS TO cibern8it FOR THE INPUT.Max E last becouse its mostly used for the Movementspeed/Knockback, wich you get at rank 1 an way.
Max R first every time you can ofcourse.

I come to liked this for hecraim, charge in, exhaust carry and go to town!
Take this for more lane dominace and to shred trough armor and magic resist.
Flash, is still a very good spell. just not so much on Hecarim, with his ultimate he can escape/Chase trough walls, and ghost gives more for hecarim.
After buff, heal is a nice spell to bait or Dive with.
THE REST OF THEM!.
As i already said, Hecarim is a very powerfull jungler. He can pull of some amazing ganks with and after level 6, his ult.A jungle needs to help other lanes, wich is why as jungling a full tank build seems better for me, im not saying you shouldent get kills at all costs! Just, let your team have most of them. his jungling is fairly simple.
1: Start at Wolfs, get some one to help with you smack them with Rampage and auto attacks
2: Go to blue, get a pull and kill it. use smite to finish it off, take a point in W
3: Wraiths is next. Spam Q as much as possible.
4: Golems is it time for next, just spam Q
5: Redbuff, kill it with smite, now look for a gank, it you can't gank any were, jungle some more.
NOTE: USE SMITE WHEN YOU USE "W" YOU WILL HEAL A MASSIVE AMMOUNT FROM IT!
So, you decided to play him as a top laner? Was also my first choice, i LOVE him top, He has good pushing power and meduim sustain with , So you are going top, happy and you are thinking, what im a going to do versus this Champion!?
IM HERE TO TELL YOU! (NOTE: The first part is mostly were i explain the basic concept of Top Laneing)
What is top? Top lane is the lane in the top (Oh Really!?), Most Top champions are Tough ADs,also know as "Bruisers" they excel at dealing and takeing damage, they are like a mix of AD And tank. Early, your main goal is simple: Win over your lane, eaither with more CS, or more kills (hopefully both!)some top laners, its stupid to even try and harras them, Yes Udyr.. im talking about you! Anyway, Farm safely, buy wards crippel the enemy top laner, kill enemy turret and start roaming, with all your massive farm you should be helping your team like there is no tommorw!
But Nilani.. i lost my lane AND my turret..
Fear not! its probaly becouse you got outpicked/played OR the enemy Jungler have camped top.
But, its not as horrible as you might think, you have no tower, your lane is pushed and your enemy is gone.. FARM FEAST! Its true, if you are under farmed and a bad KDR what help will you be to your team? Wasteing good farm to die? seems legit.. (NOT)
Farm up, untill your team REALLY needs you, if they chose to go 4v5 and then blame you, ignore them. You lost your lane, you need to farm! if the go 4v5, to bad, but what would it help if you came? a weak top laner can't do much. FARM FARM FARM!!

Shes annoying, yes. I my self had a hard time with her ranged poke, she can just punish you for EVERY last hit you try and take not much to do, play safe and learn to farm under turret, call for ganks and wait for your ! after and some health things start to happen. rember, if she throws her stealth you have 3 AoE-non target spells, just spam Q if she stealths
's Early game is weak, very weak infact. His Q deals next to 0 Dmg, no ranged harras, and his only form of sustain is his wich dosent heal much early game, and costs a fair chunk of mana. focus on farming, call for ganks, and try to farm up.
If you are a baws, try and stay in lane untill: 1260 gold, and get , if its going kinda meh, get a Philopher's stone and some potions, ALWAYS get a Sight Ward on every back. as soon as you get sheen, thing tend to go in your favor
Summary: Play safe, ask for ganks, get sheen fast.
As soon as you get your , boots and maby some parts of your OR Your Mabye you even got your ENTIRE Triforce/Rod You are starting to get stronger. With more damage and more Health. Rember, your ult is almost the range of 4 flashes, so you can escape almost EVERY gank, its INSANE. Start working on some ressistances now, get a good safe early And mid and unleash hell in lategame!
If you surived this long with out a horrible KDR you should be fine, more than fine you should be RAMPAGEING around with your and Sheen! (See what i did there?] Your DMG is INSANE your movementspeed is INSANE You are tough like a Mountain! Your final stats, at lv 18 with full build..

Problem? When you get to this point, let your cat sleep on the Keyboard, make a cup of tea, return, and you won. Not much to say about this, just DONT GET TOO COCKY! You can't 1v5.
