Pros / Cons

Pros:
-Good jungler
-Good ganker
-He has CC
-Good chaser/escaper

-Kinda' low damage before Trinity Force

Summoner Spells

Ghost because it gives you movement speed bonus, which converts into damage, so Ghost is very important for Hecarim.

Smite because, well, you're jungling, and you need this.

- Magic Resist per level

Why so? Hecarim is off-tank, he needs armor, magic resist and damage. With the armor and magic resist he can easily initiate and with the armor pen. he will deal good damage.

Masteries

On masteries I take 22 points in defense for the damage return, armor, magic resist, health, and other things that come in handy. In utility I take 8 points for more movement speed bonus, time spent dead reduction and mana.
