While you are farming. You should place your q/turrets to get the minions. It will help you get farm and it will keep the Enemy jungler from Ganking. Many times I keep the jungler from ganking because when they do. Your q is upgraded already so they die instantly.

It is very important to keep 2 or 3 turrets placed near you at all times. If you are not near your turrets it will not activate them and you can be ganked. Stay in the middle of the turrets and if you get ganked the jungler won't be able to do anything and will most likely die a quick and painful death. Remember to farm it up and keep your farm above the enemies mid. Whenever you ult use it on your w to do thousands of damage.

When playing ranked games, it is good to buy a little bit tanky just to give you a little bit of an edge. Just make sure to have your q upgraded and constantly move so that they cannot get many skillshots on you.

It is very easy and quick to push with a heimerdinger. You can easily place your turrets to push the lane out and get the turrets quickly. Remember to back off when the enemies are mia and place your turrets everywhere to kill them all!
