No it doesn't. Spell vamp, life steal, on-hit effects and Rylai don't proc on turret shots :(

Solotop matchups was something I had planned for some time, but I haven't found the time (and mood) to work on it.
Support heimerdinger... nah I dont like it. I've played it a few games and it is just an typical "not bad, but there is better"

Turrets are using the same coding as regular turrets I think. They will not be affected by any aura/passive.
This even goes for things like aegis, zeke's herald and other support items. I dont know how turrets react to janna ult, but I think they will just remain where they are.

Nice Build, but i don't Katarina is an easy match for Herme, due to her sunpoo, or what it's called...

The point is that katarina relies on her ultimate for dmg. The fact is that while she uses it, she cant move, thus you have an easy hit on your grenade, stunning her (most likely near your turrets if you place them well) and you WILL end up killing her. Trust me on this one ;-)

I actually have never lost a game vs katarina while playing heimerdinger...

I like to play Heimerdinger and he is my favourite champ. i get turrets to lvl 3 1st and then I max my rockets for amazing mid-game DMG. I do not take Archangel's Staff cause I do not need a lot of mana. And Veigar isn't very easy. If he makes a combo of stun-W and ulti he can shut you down easely if you have a lot of AP. And yes, my friend plays blitz a lot and his pull gives me a free kill bot lane.

I also think Exhaust should be a choice for a spell. Your opponents cannot easely run away in that case or they can't catch you and it works against melee champs like Darius.

I also take sometimes Deathfire Grasp when most of my oponents are tanky.

But without this little issues I found, amazing build and it really works against most champions.

And can you give me your opinion mid vs Vayne, Urgot and Draven. Vayne is easy to kill but her damage is huge. Urgot's combo of E and Q makes you can't run away. And good Urgot can use his ulti to get you away from your turrets so he must be very gard to beat.

And there is that crazy-ranged caitlyn and stealthed teemo and twitch.

Vs veigar you simply shouldn't stack ap and build mercury's. I think that if you adapt well to veigar, you should never lose your lane. Remember that you have great range and better sustain than he has.

And I am currently rewriting my build page for the new item, which will include the removal of the archangel staff. I recommend using my new build until then.

Oh and for the matchups I only mentioned the champions you see mid often at higher levels (25+).

But, if you need to know it:

Vayne: keep poking her. If she initiates, make sure to get a clear shot with your grenade and then she's dead.
Urgot: stay at range and push. Keep poking with rockets and get boots as soon as possible. His swap is a *****, true. There's nothing you can do about that.
Draven: Haven't played against him yet. He is annoying, but luckily not that extremely strong. I can't help you on this one.
Caitlyn: Dont even bother to level your turrets to 3, go all out on your rockets and poke her till she dies of it.
Teemo: shouldn't be a problem because he is squishy and has fairly short range.
Twitch: Buy vision wards -> win.

I asked for your opinions of this champs cause Im lvl 30 and I see this champs more usually than Annie or Malza. (Never won in a lane against them, rarely see them in game)

Me, stupid forgot to ask you about Ezreal, Fiddle, Miss Fortune and Varus.
Against all of them but MF I build turrets to lvl 3 and rockets to max. For mf I build rockets to max, lvl 1 turret and 2nd E to max. Is my skill sequence good?


And can you give me your opinion on Exhaust?

Forgive me for not naming all champs, but I am going to keep this general:

Against AD-ranged you usually want to max your rockets by lvl 9 (so no lvl 3 turrets, these you max second) Depends completely on the range and skill of the player, so I can't judge how hard this will be.
Against AP-carries with sustain you want to max your turrets by lvl 9 (e.g. fiddlesticks). Harder matchups.
Against squishy AP-carries you always max your rockets after 3 points in turrets. Usually fairly easy matchups
Against melee AP-champions you always max your turrets then grenades. This usually is an fairly easy lane

For exhaust there are just better options. It is a nice spell to have, but I think that the support of your team should be the one to pick it, OR the jungler OR top, but it is generally bad for mid champs. If there is no one in your team that has this spell, you should take it though.

great build, and i think its awesome how u gave info on how heimerdinger matches up against other champs in mid! im definitely upvoting, but i only have thing i thought was weird in your build: rylai's crystal scepter. heimer's turrets dont proc the slow from that item, and since the turrets are the main damage source, what would be the point? but again, i still love your build, and that was the only thing i didnt understand.
