Not Updated For Current Season
The masteries shown here are not yet updated for the current season, the guide author needs to set up the new masteries. As such, they will be different than the masteries you see in-game.
Hi Im IgnobleSoul maybe you ever played against me if you have That's right im terrible at this game but i don't care. This is a short guide to how i like to play Ezreal which is the only champion im barely good at. Please read the whole guide before voting and lastly i apologize for the occasional spelling mistakes and bad grammar English is not my native language.
I think that the masteries are self explaining just a typical mastery build make sure you pick up extended buff duration and mastery to buff your Ignite and your Clarity those will be useful.
About this make sure you pick up red and blue buff as often as possible as they are a great pick with Ezreal hes such a brilliant champion if he gets that godly slow and bonus damage and cooldown reduction is great as well as that infinite mana. Ezreal with the red and blue buff = God.
The rune choice i think was very apropriate Armor penetration Quints are for obviously armor penetration those will be useful for your Q since its the main damage output of Ezreal early and late game and those apply on hit effects and do physical damage so armor pen will be greatly useful for strong gaming and owning late game. The marks are armor penetration and the explanation behind them is exactly the same as the quints to do more damage and be more succesful those will later work well with you Black cleaver because that decreases armor. The seals are cooldown reduction those will give you a little cooldown reduction just so that you can spam that Q even more and make more damage and even make people rage just a little hard which is obviously what everyone likes and wants. The explanation for the Glyphs is the same as the seals.
Pros / Cons
- Great damage output late and mid game
- One of the best champions in the game
- Easy to escape
- An ultimate that can get someone on the other side of the map
- Good kill stealer (i know this is pretty lame but its true)
- Very squishy
- Focused in team fights
- Pretty bad damage early game until you get that Sheen and Bf sword
- Alot of "whaaaah that ult is op" comments
- Easily owned by more tanky champions
The summoner spells on this champion are really important, when you are in mid you can use that ignite to finish off or do a little more damage to champions. You would not bielieve how much kills ignite gets you especially at mid since there is less space to chase someone therefore less damage can be dealt when your enemy is low health and running a quick Q and a ignite might be just enough to make sure you get the kill and the first blood you desire. With Ignite you can be a little strategic always check your enemy's summoner spells if they have heal make sure you cast the ignite so that the heal is greatly reduced and also think about your enemy's spells if you are going up against a Volibear or a fiddlesticks a good ignite might be a great way to counter that champion and reduce their healing greatly because we all know that Fiddlesticks has a greatly overpowered heal with a cooldown that should be at least doubled or tripled. Now your Clarity, check how much your Clarity is healing your mana and when you got the same amount of mana gone as the amount it heals use it to make sure that you get the mana that you need so that your mana is full and dont wait for it to get lower to heal your mana because the sooner you use it the sooner it comes back up i personally think that these are the summoner spells you should be using they work the best but if you wish a flash for better escape or a ghost for chasing and running might be a good pick if your not a big fan of Clarity.
With Ezreal farming is very important as well as those kills when playing Ezreal if you dont farm properly and kill you can fail at early game and if you dont get that gold early game you wont get it very well mid and late game if you fail that Early game unless you get at least 4 kills mid game you will have trouble gaming if this happens make sure you hit up those lanes while your team defends or pushed and get alot of farm. What i tend to do is not touch the turrets at all early game just hit the minions under enemy turret while the turret takes out your minions so make sure you Farm Farm Farm!
Overall i think that Ezreal is a brilliant champion but if played in-correctly can be veru frustrating so make sure you dont just play 5 games fail and the quit but give him at least 20 matches before you decide if you think hes a good Champion or a terrible champion. Definetly a good buy hes 100% worth Good bye this been IgnobleSoul with my first guide add me in game if you want a game or something and remember FARM FARM FARM!
