E 1st, CDR boots and glyphs, Rylai's, Mejai's...

Throw all that **** out of the build. No good Kat would use any of that. CDR just goes to waste, Rylai's doesn't fir her playstyle well + it gives you no sustain. Gunblade is soooo much better. Mejai's is generally an unreliable item.

well if you are a good kat player then try it cause it is how you do it . I play her all the time and yes the mejai's is a great item cause if you dont suck then that is a extra 140 AP

its not really about sucking. if you 1v5, most likely your gonna die, or else the enemy is just too nooby or you are just way too fed. in the fed case, get a mejais, or else mejais is not a reliable item at all.

and yes, like what albableat said, you have no spellvamp. definitely should get some. will of ancients and gunblade are both very viable on kat.
