Threats to Wukong with this build
|Blitzcrank||Well, you don't get much Blitz players on mid or top, but it's funny when you have good timing with your W and you can block his Q. Do it at the last possible moment, so it'll look like it wasn't clone.|
|Nocturne||Easy, squishi target, nothing to say here.|
|Ryze||One of the easiest matchups. He can do some damage pre lvl 3, but once you have your clone, he can't deal you almost any damage, and he's also squishy.|
|Zac||Easy matchup, Zac is tank, but he's sqishy in early game, he has almost no damage and low cc, if he miss his jump.|
My name is Chluppy, I'm Gold III player and here I finally present you my Wukon guide. He was my first bought champion and I have played him for like 2 years, but I've learned to dominate him in last few months. In this guide, you will have some basic informations about standart plays and combos with Wukong and counterpicks on both top and mid. As you can see from the build, I play him like AD burster assasin, who can delete any squishier target in your opponents' team in few seconds. What I need to tell you first is that Wukong is not a tank. I hate people who play him tanky. He has awesome AD scaling on all of his abilities, so why waste it? I have tried it, but then, you can't play against champs like Riven, Lee Sin etc...
Pros / Cons
-huge burst damage
-tanky with passive
-strong both laning phase, teamfights and mid-game
-jukes and sneaky tactics with W
-massive E damage
-awesome ultimate good for combos
-if you are being focused, you won't do many things
-bad escapes when W is on cooldown
Here, I'll show you some basic combos:
E-Q-W: This is the standart combo on laning phase, when you want to trade without almost any injure. If you have enough time, make some basic attacks before using Q, becouse it has longer range than normal attacks, so if you use it on start, you won't have range for basics.
E-W-basics-Q: Use this combo when you play against champs with some quick stun like Panktheon/Renekton. They will usually waste their stun and some other spells on the clone, and then have nothing left for the trade.
W-E-basics-Q: This is standart combo when you want to sneak on someone. Make sure he can't see your clone, because then he will know you are there.
S: Maybe you have another hotkey, but learn to use the key that makes your character stop doing anything. Your ennemies will think it's just a cone and usually run in front of you. Also turn your auto attack off. This escape is not always worth, you must learn when it's good and when it's better to simply use W.
E-Q-R: This is basic teamfight combo. You can use W before to sneak on them, or save it for escaping from fight. Sometimes, if you jump on some targets with jump, don't use your Q, because then they will have time to escape and you will miss your ult. So sometimes, use the ult quickly after E to get the knock.
W-basics-Q-E-basics: Defensive combo. Use this when your laning opponent jumps on you- W away to block the damage, than use few basics, when they start to run, use Q and E and finish the trade with few more basic attacks. This combo is extremly effective. If you have ult ready, use it after E for more damage and the knock.
Timat/Hydra/Ward-E: When escaping in jungle, you can jump throw walls with E. there are 2 ways to do it: First, activate timats'/hydras' active on the other side of the wall where is blue camp/frog/wraiths- it will start to attack you so you will get the wision and you will be able to jump on them. If you can't do that, you can just simply put ward there and jump as well.
homeguards-W-E: When you are defending your base and you have homeguards, you can activate your W for longer sneaks.
Okay guys, than you so much for reading this guide, I'll probably update it soon to give you some information about teamfights etc... I hope you enjoyed it, don't forget to rate it. :)
