Neat guide! You mention in your itemization section that Sightstone has become a more viable pick-up due to lower jungler XP and gold income keeping jungler's in a semi-support position.

I've been watching a lot of competitive games from each region lately and I've noticed that only Elise and Lee Sin tend to opt for the early Sightstone. Lee makes sense, but why do you think jungler's like Kha'Zix shy away from Sightstone while Elise can get it despite it's unremarkable harmony with her kit?

Kha'Zix cannot fit the supportive role because he completely relies on damage to be useful (0 utility contrary to Lee/Elise). It's also less slot effective meaning carry junglers always need to sell it going into late game.

The lack of magic resist early on is a bit troubling, I ganked an orianna once (who was packing a lot more ap than anyone was expecing) early on in the game and she couldn't have squished me more effectively if she had a massive shoe. Any thoughts?

You can opt for magic resist in runes if you want to, however that's only effective to a limited extent because Elise has no base scaling MR as a ranged champion. Overall you just want to get some MR after finishing your core build. Optionally however you can also get Merc treads as part of your core build.

I'm curious- how do you feel about the new rylai's, perhaps as a second buy? The extra health is always nice, the AP is now quite respectable, and the passive compliments Elise's kit quite well in my opinion.

There's no reason to get it at all. The ap is only marginally effective due to elise's weak AP scalings and the HP is too little to afford it.

As mentioned in the guide, I went through the process of updating the guide but I haven't had the time to update everything yet.

Spectral wraith is correct, golem sucks after the changes, at least for elise it does.

Great guide! ^^ Just wanted to mention that a possible pro could be the fact that she's one of the few ap junglers.

Thank you!

I wouldn't consider that a pro because right now top lane meta = gragas, maokai, lulu etc which is all magic damage so you're never short on magic damage anyway (quite the contrary: you're often too heavy on magic dmg).

What I mean is, when you go from behind/side but he CAN see you. So you dont get a safe stun off. The advantage is, that you can do constant damage with your spiderlings+W+Q's and do not have cooldown on human form. So at any point you can switch and stun.

If you start human form and go Spider after your first Q, You have CD on Humanform and cannot stun for 4 seconds. And if you wait in human form at the start of the gank, for a good position to stun, you lose DPS, because after your first Q, you can only autoattack.
