Not Updated For Current Season
The masteries shown here are not yet updated for the current season, the guide author needs to set up the new masteries. As such, they will be different than the masteries you see in-game.
Hello! My name is LFiasco. I'm currently...I'd rather not talk about my league and division. Instead, I'd prefer to talk about one of my, if not favorite champions, Vladimir. I would say he is my most consistent champion, in laning, in teamfights, in mechanics, in farming, and in just overall gameplay. This is my first guide and I'm choosing to make it on Vladimir because he's bloody awesome. Pun intended. Hopefully I can bestow my knowledge, techniques, tactics, tips, and tricks with whoever so happens to read this and wants to learn to play a better Vladimir.
Pros / Cons
|High Sustain||No CC other than slow|
|Pretty low cooldowns in my opinion||No gap closer/movement skills|
|Good Trades when harassing||Only escape skill ( Sanguine Pool) has long cd|
|Good Gank Escapes||Very vulnerable to ignite|
|AOE Ult good in teamfights||A bit weak early game|
|Can still deal good damage while building semi tanky|
|Hard to turret dive due to his Sanguine Pool|
Greater Mark of Magic Penetration
Greater Quintessence of Ability Power
Greater Seal of Scaling Health
Greater Glyph of Scaling Ability Power
These are what I personally prefer to run on Vladimir.
Greater Quints of AP for obvious reasons of having that good amount of ap to give you extra ability power as well as a little health, these really make a difference early game.
Greater Glyphs of scaling AP more for the late game, so as the game progresses you will become stronger with them giving you more AP then the flat runes.
Greater Marks of Magic penetration for that extra penetration which adds on to your damage output and definitely helps for people build some Magic Resist against you. Good for most AP Champs.
Greater Seals of Scaling Health to finish it off. Because of Vladimir's passive Crimson Pact it will give you the health mainly from it, but also a little bit of AP because of that. Plus the scaling helps you more late game just have that extra hp which always helps.
Why I posted this unfinished.
I am just experimenting at the moment with the guide, but will be constantly putting more information on vladimir and stuff on this guide, it's a work in progress. I didn't mean to publish it, I didn't know I could un-publish it. I will work on putting more and more work into this guide though to make it the best I can put out.
A quick note I want to put down before I forget. Once you get level 1 q, then level 2 e,
the next choice you make is vital. If you started off in the lane with an item such as Doran's Shield where you have no wards, I would recommend getting [[sanguine pool] with your 3rd level skill point, instead of another point in the q then taking the w at level 4. If you start boots for example, go ahead and just go Q E Q W instead of Q E W Q, because that ward grants you just that extra little bit of security. Just a tip.
