Thanks for the one up! For starters however, when i boast of my large hp pool, that doesnt mean i am no longer a caster. I still play safe and stay behind my sturdy tank. Although, when the chance arises my hp alows me to push out further than most casters would, if I see an opening to exploit. Such as a target with low health on the harassment before a team fight, someone who over committed that I can root so my team can wallop them, even 1v1 situations vs melee dpss i can win because of my hp pool. Without my hp pool none of these scenarios would be possible without a greater chance of death. Although, hp is just a nice bonus to my build, my build is focused around mana, not hp. Also, what situations would you use my exact build in? Because, and youre 100% correct, I could get banshees or GA but I wouldnt give either up for my RoAs, they are the core of my build I would add them after the 2nd RoA if I was having a problem with survivability.

I really like this build.... BUT... I dont buy 2 RoA's. Jebus' point at the beginning is very very valid. Health alone is not enough to ensure survivability and let's face it with Sorcerers Shoes you 'aint going anywhere quickly! Mix this up with a healthy dose of +0 Armour and +0 Magic Resist and the enemy team will tear you apart in seconds.

Saying that, this build with a brilliant tank would absolutely annihilate everything.

So + 1 for your build as it is viable and fun to play, BUT (I'm liking my but's today) it is a situational build and the 2nd RoA should definitely be a toss up between a Banshee's Veil, Guardian Angel OR 2nd RoA. The Void Staff is nice to have but is usually the 6th item in my build.

Well, as I mentioned in the build,
HOWEVER, I did accidently buy dorans in my lates ryze game, partly because I havent played him in forever was having fun with ezreal. and it worked well. So, and I will add this in my build, dorans works. as for not liking the 2 roas, that is the foundation of my build, and is the reason for most of the pwnage plus, as I told Jebus Mcazn
with the 15% penatration from the masteries, that's really all you need. If you truly want your spells to do almost true dmg then get void staff but, that takes away from the mana and thus your dmg. I think I'm going to put numbers up so people understand better why my build works. Thanks for the comment oh, and did you try the build or just look? If you did, did it work well?

What speaks against a Dorans Ring as the first item to grab?

nice build, worked better than my current one :) (RoA, soulstealer, archangels, deathfire, shoes, the new Ap stuff)

The only issue I found is the cooldown reduction, it was good to have the deathfire grasp for the CR, though it is managable by a golem buff with this build...

Still the only glitch I found, thumbs up :)

Thanks bucha, pacifist and p. diddy. (Can't believe I have a celebrity checking out MY build.) As for crazy smurf, I thought about bankshees but, I just have no place to put it in. Oh and just to be sure, I don't get teardrop and archangels I just build the teardrop first then finish archangels later. If thats the case than I'll make sure to make that more clear in the build.
