Hello,

First of all:
- yes, i made an account just to vote up this guide;
- no, i do not know the author.

Secondly:
This is the best guide for Wukong. I play with him from his appearance and i'd like to say that is one of the best champs. I played with Mordekaiser (60% from the no of total matches) and Wukong replaced him successfully. Mordekaiser is boring...too op.
It has everything you need to initiate an attack and to run when you're ganked.

Lately:
Why not Good Hands 1/3, Perseverence 3/3, Expanded Mind 4/4 and Greed 1/1 in the Utility tab? That's how i play and i must say it helps me a lot in the early game. I get more mana and mana regen so i can stay longer on the lane. That way you don't need Awareness because you get XP from the killed minions.

PS: it's funny that i played the same build before i found this. It's funny how people begin to shout like "LOLOMG what's that build" in the beginning and add me as a friend at the match end for pro-play.

Thanks for making an account just to upvote! I really don't know who you are, but thanks :).
Ok so for utility don't get 3/3 for Perseverance, its just not worth it.
Read this: http://na.leagueoflegends.com/board/showthread.php?t=219077
Basically, it gives practically nothing.
And I get Awareness because....well that extra boost of exp helps early game, and it also helps when mid game and you are roaming around, getting less exp than in lanes. Its all preference really, but don't get Perseverance.

dude.....ultimatepro is truly right... look at the majority who voted for you, all ur accounts made on the same day, and this guide looks TERRIBAD.. please make a new guide that will please me ^^

If I seriously did make 20 accounts just to "upvote" myself, then why would I make them add comments? Wouldn't it be easier to just take that out, and so noone would know who voted? I have nothing to hide cause i know i didn't do it. Also, my guide is for the benefit of others, so if you don't like it, just grow up and ignore it.

I think he works better with a burst build, since initiating team fights and escaping is easy enough even without tank items. Its just to charge in, hit em' and spin with ulti so they'll fly into the air, then go invis and run to safety and let your team do the job. (And you'll probably get another chance to jump in and get some kills too.)

About early game I have to say I don't agree, I think he is beast early game combined with another champion which got good harrass. You can completely destroy most champions that way, especially if one of you pick up exhaust. And I found him very hard to solo lane with, but thats probably because of the fact that each time I was made to do it I wasn't prepared and had a item setup which didn't help me out.

Now I'm not gonna down vote just because the build isn't made in my preference, this build is probably better than burst build in some cases, depending on your team setup, but I have to say in my honest opinion I think he works better as a burst champion. I'd guess its time to find out. ^_^

thanks for the comments.
I guess if you're not used to it then solo lane then start in a duo. But i do advise you to start going for a solo lane for wukong, as i have had much better results solo. also, the ult in and decoy away trick is great, but in my own personal experience, I have survived more teamfights while building tanky, and still doing enough damage to help the team ace. I look at the charts after my game, and I still do the most damage or 2nd most, while tanking usually the 2nd most (behind tanks or ww).

Wukong doesn't have the best early game, but it isn't bad either. lvl 7-14 is where I usually do best. I guess if you build him as a burst, then early game is most suited, but like i said, this is a tanky dps build, and mid-late game is best if you are using my build xD.

Followed this build exactly. except end game i trade the phil stone for a Phantom dancer to take down their tank fast enough cause a few big hits wernt enough. my score was 22/4/19 even though about 15 of those assists were our ******ed shen tank kill stealing me i still carried the team like a boss epic build! +1

glad you liked the guide x]. and yes, sell philo stone late game, i think i should have included that in my build somewhere. Thanks.

Bad build. I find the money generating items not worth it. And Wukong is a killer and a good farmer so theres no need for those items. If you were a support or tank i would understand but Wukong is not, and he has no use for items such as philosipher's stone and heart of gold.

uhmm...did you read the guide at all? or at least the tags? i stated that this is a TANKY DPS/OFF TANK build. have you seen jarvans solo top at ranked? they all grab items like Philo and HoG. Wukong should be no different. Tanky DPS that solos top that can be even more effective with items like Philo. I doubted all gold per 5 items before, but i soon realize that they work well on anyone, and that extra gold really is perfect for tanky dps that can roam lanes and gank.
