Threats & Synergies
Poppy
You both can stop Poppy's engage and can stop Poppy's ult. Treat this match up as a skill match up and be careful.
- Bluky enough to
be a tank and do plenty of damage - You can build her
in so many ways - Has a great engage/disengage
- Cute <3
- Because of her passive, it procs
TL and Grasp of the Undying - Her W gives her bonus defenses and stops dashes
Cons
- She's bulky, but not very bulky
- Her ult can be interrupted by any hard CC
- Her buckler can be broken by enemy champs
when on the ground - She can get kited pretty hard
- Her W doesn't stop blinks or Flash
You know to take this, but just in case you didn't know to...
Her mobility is kind of meh. so take this so you can get back to lane faster and to have better objective control.
You CAN take this, but it's not recommended. It would only be used for kill pressure, and I would only take it if I was going against someone like Garen.
FB #1
-This is my normal build with her, and it's the most practical one I've used and enjoyed.
FB #2
-I would use this build if I was running Grasp of the Undying on Poppy, it also works with TL but I feel it's better with grasp.
FB #3
-This last build I would use if I was building straight tank with her, making Black Cleaver and sterack's gage her core items.
Let's talk about her passive Iron Ambassador. It gives her rane, bonus AP, and when she picks it up it gives her a little shield for 15% of her max health. Also, if her Buckler kills a target, it goes back to her regardless. It makes her a melee-range champ basically. On top of that, it procs TL and Grasp, making it amazing for her overall.
Her Q Hammer Shock is her main damaging spell. Low mana, high damage, and it provides a slow. It's wonderful to use in all stages in the game, great for trading and just doing all sorts of damage in duels and team fights.
Her next big ability is her E Heroic Charge. It's a point and click ability that charges poppy into an opponent damaging and carrying them with her. If she hits them against a wall, she stuns them for 1.6 - 2 seconds. It's her main engage, and when you get that stun it's beautiful. This makes her main damage combo E,Q,AA do SO MUCH DAMAGE.
Now lets talk about her W Steadfast Presence. It gives her bonus Armor and MR, and when active it gives her bonus movement speed and it also stops dashes but can't stop blinks or Flash. Not much to say about the ability. It helps you escape and that's about it.
Lastly, we have her ult Keeper's Verdict. IT. IS. AMAZING. Sort of. It deals 200 to 400 AD, and when active it slows her by 15%. When channeled it can be used as a skill shot to hit and launch enemies to their fountain no matter where you hit them. It also gives you true sight when they're airborne. If instant casted it knocks enemies straight up. This right here can be used for any situation, if you need to run away or if you need to re-position yourself to push them against the wall again. It also can extend the combo, for example: E,Q,AA,R,E,Q. It also can hit up to 3 targets in a small area at a time.
These are just some examples, there're plenty more champs that go well with her.
