This guide is all going to be about jungle Skarner
Skarner is a bruiser (tanky, deals a decent amount of damage)
What makes Skarner great?
Hes basicaly got most things u nd through out the game built in already
sorry for the poor quality of this guide, it is my first guide, and im a total idiot interms of any sort of coding
Pros / Cons
+ Great mobility
+ Deals a good amout of damage with great tankyness
+ Infinite Slow
+ Great ult that really makes each teamfight a 4v5
- No distant closers
- Really bad range
- Sheen dependent
- Not much aoe
Greater Quintessence of Movement Speed Movement speed is extremely important on Skarner, without this mobility u cant really stick to ur opps with ur Crystal Slash or do some amazing initiates by running in and pulling the carry out with Impale
Greater Mark of Attack Speed Attack spd is good on most junglers, and it also help utilizing Skarner 's passive Energize more, helping u reducing that cd on ur skills faster
Greater Seal of Armor Armour is always good on junglers, help u survive that jungle and get out to gank with more hp, helps u tank the turrets
Greater Glyph of Scaling Magic Resist Always good to have a balance of MR and Armour, personaly think MR doesnt really make a huge difference in early game plays for a jungler
Passive Energize this is one of the things which makes Skarner a great champ, allows u to spam that ult Impale basicaly cuts the cooldown of it by nearly 1/2 or more
Q Crystal Slash A built in CC for Skarner, works really well if u manage to start that slow off the enemy champ. This is ur main damage output Tip: u can always Q on the minions on ur way closing the distance to enemy champ when ganking, so when u Q again to hit the champ the slow will proc imedialtly
W Crystalline Exoskeleton An other built in buff for Skarner, never hurts to get a spd buff and sheild
E Fracture Personaly think is on of the most worthless skills in the game, it does nearly no damage, doesnt really help out ur jungle when u already have Crystalline Exoskeleton sheilding u from some damage. Infact i think it slows down the jungle, for u cant benefit from ur passive Energize by using it
R ult Impale The skill that Skarner is recognized for, this is better than WW's ult Infinite Duress, instead of hold the enemy postion u can literaly drag him anywhere u want (e.g. in the middle of ur team making a 5v1). Cant flash during ur ult, but u can turn on Crystalline Exoskeleton , flash in and drag them out.
Some ppl may wonder "y no Wriggle's Lantern , y no Wit's End"
i personaly is not a fan of wriggles, purely cuz i dont think that 425proc damage to minions and free ward isnt worth, id rather build up my frozen heart. If the team nds wards just buy some.
Wit's End is a clasic bruiser item, but i dont think it works on Skarner , for skar has to Q between attacks not fully procing the 42 damage
Really nd to communicate with ur team ensure that they will bak u up when u rampage in to a 1v5 dragging the carry away from the team, or u will just be one of those "feeders"
