Not Updated For Current Season
The masteries shown here are not yet updated for the current season, the guide author needs to set up the new masteries. As such, they will be different than the masteries you see in-game.
ok so i was looking around at all the irelia builds, i tried nearly all of them and damn did i do really well. i felt confident in my own abilities to create my own build, and here it is.
I PRESENT TO YOU, THE 100% REAL WAY TO BUILD IRELIA THAT KICKS SO MUCH *** ITS FUNNY FOR ONLY 20 YEARS!!!
first off i wanna talk to you about masteries. as irelia is pretty squishy i put 21 points into defense, 3 points into utility so i respawn faster, and i threw a couple points into offense, making sure to take a point in smite as we will need that. also take a point in revive.
as you mighta heard on masteries, the summoner spells we take are revive and smite. smite helps us with our jungling while revive cuts down our dead time.
runes are kinda tricky, i went with flat mana marks as irelia has low mana, she has a serious mana problem..
anyway for yellows i took attack speed, which will let me hit them more with my ****ing awesome true damage. seriously just look at how awesome that sounds.
blues are magic resist, as the enemy team can easily gank up and stunlock irelia with their spells, so you're gonna need some magic resist.
lastly lets talk about quints. now you're gonna tell me that, i can't have more than 3 quints. but thats where i tell you that your stupid because i have 3 runepages, so i can have 9 quints. but i could only afford 5. i took 4 quints of movespeed so i can
run away catch enemies that are trying to run in fear. i also took a quint of magic penetration because that increases the damage of hiten style, now thats an important skill i want you to learn it.
ok so as for spells, what few people fail to realize is how awesome hiten style is. passive lifesteal with true damage holy **** true damage i bet your enemies just **** their pants upon realizing that all their armor and magic resist is useless.
but ****ing don't stop at 5 levels, you can actually learn hiten style 13 times, something i just recently found out. the game doesn't tell you what that is, but with some calculations, 13 levels is 200% lifesteal with 5000 true damage each hit. holy **** why is irelia so op i could just ****ing 1 hit everything, even a full warmog full feasted cho.
you'll also need your ultimate for some reason, it heals you i dont know it sounded good.
now lets focus on gameplay.
right off the start purchase a meki pendant and run into the bushes next to the golem. once golem spawns, use smite on it but do not kill it. instead let it kill you, then use revive, run down to bottom lane and gank. no one ever sees that coming, and you'll usually walk out of there with 2 free kills.
using that money i prefer to buy an archangels staff because ******** does irelia have the biggest mana problem i've ever seen. and hiten style does even more damage with ability power.
but now its time to get serious. go back to that golem and die again, and be sure to use revive, that spell is so awesome. continue to gank bot in this fashion until you are 30/0/0, dieing to the golem after every gank.
ok now by mid game you should have the archangels staff, along with the will of the ancients, chalice of harmony, and frozen heart. push a tower, any one, but most importantly, make sure the tower kills you. seriously everytime you die you get to use revive, and you gain a bonus 400 hit points! irelia is so damn squishy..
now this is the part when your allies, amazed at how awesome you are, will try to surrender so the enemy team doesn't feel bad for feeding you so much and loosing because they actually win. but no don't surrender. you want to rub it in the enemies face how much you've kil.. damnit they stunlocked me to death again. ok no big worries, i'll just buy boots of swiftness so i can escape.
now, here comes the final assault on their base. theres a little known glitch that if you die to their pool tower (the one in the back corner) and then revive, the enemy team looses. i know its crazy but the pool tower starts shooting the nexus. but shhh don't tell anyone i told you that, or riot will fix it.
all in all, i ended game with a new record of 88/0/1, because that ******** karthus stole my kill, seriously i woulda killed that ***** on the enemy team who flashed across a wall and into the enem.. damn stunlocks!
