For summoner spells i use ghost and flash. They both provide great utility; since Cho'gath has no defensive spells really a ghost flash combo guarantees a getaway from ganks or when your at low hp. Their both great for offense as well, ghost being able to chase fleeing enemies along with flash or i have also found flash very effective to flash to an enemy then feast them.

Pretty standard mastery and rune build. 9/0/21, but if u want to go more towards a tank or just want more defense then i recommend 0/21/9. For runes i use mp5@18 for the extra mana early game or whenever i need it(mostly for early game); i take this instead of the straight mp5 runes because by lvl 4 these runes have already pretty much caught up to the straight mp5 runes so these seem much more helpful for the first 10 lvls. Ap@18 glyphs for extra damage and straight ap quints as well(far better than the ap@18 quints since the ap@18 ones dont catch up till about lvl 11). Magic pen marks should be self explanatory. Didn't go magic pen quints and didn't get any in the items build because cho'gaths most powerful ability already has 100% magic pen built in to it. It does still help the other three abilities though.

The item build is just my personal preference that has been working out for me. It is a good balance of hp/resistances/ap. I like swiftness boots personally, but other good options are Ninja Tabi's or Sorcerer's Shoes. Instead of Lich Bane i will get an abyssal Scepter some times mattering on the enemies team; change the vuild around depending on the enemy team if its very physical heavy have more armor, if it has a lot of magic dmg have more mr.

I didn't put to much thought around the skill sequence. I have toyed around with it a little bit and don't see too much of a difference between this one and others and all of them end up in the same place at lvl 18. I find that this skill sequence works well for me but change it if u need to fit your play style.

This cho'gath build works very well with many different play styles because of its good balance of defense and offense. Try to make sure have 6 stacks of feast up as much as u can, i would just eat creeps/minions till u do.
