Spells:
Exhaust
Ghost
Ability Order
Rising Spell Force (PASSIVE)
Ezreal Passive Ability
Introduction
Exhaust
- Because of Ez's built in flash mechanic, flash isn't necessary (althout still could be used). Exhaust is perfect for Ez to get in some more damage early in the game and allows him to make some E Z kills!Ghost
- Standard on almost all champions, allows you to close the gap or gtfo when needed, also can reduce time spent running to the lane from B.Sheen
- This will be your first main item, and is almost every Ezreal's first item, it vastly improves your Mystic Shot and makes your other abilities slightly better (AP).Ionian Boots
- Cooldown boots to make your Mystic Shot more spammable and make your ulti available more often.Hextech Gunblade
- This will give you a big boost in AP/AD and will give you much better DPS and Burst, especially with the active.Guinsoo's Rageblade
- Another boost to AP/AD, you can increase the AP easily by spamming Mystic Shot before teamfights happen.Lich Bane
- Another boost to AP as well as some MR and Movement Speed. This will also make your Mystic Shoot (yet again) even stronger).Banshee's Veil
- Self explanatory, the MR and shield will make you harder to focus in teamfights.Guardian Angel
- A nice all round buff to MR and AR, and ofcourse that troll passive!
These are some items that can be build if you feel the need for them -
Doran's Blade
- At the start of the game you can opt for a Doran's Blase, this will leave you without a health pot but with some extra health and life steal. However you do lose net gold in the process.Rabadon's Deathcap
- Once you have built your Lich bane or Banshee's and you feel you can afford to build extra AP, this is the best option, it will add a lot of overall damage, don't build it if you are getting focused, only build if you are facerolling!Nashor's Tooth
- Same situation as Rabadon's instead you will see a big increase in your DPS and you get a lot of CDR for your ult :)Other Boots
- If the other team is stacked with CC PLEASE feel free to buyMerc Treads
and if the other team is stacked with AD, feel free with to buildNinja Tabi
:)Greater Marks/Quintessences of Desolation
- A hefty amount of AR Pen, makes your auto's hit a lot harder throughout the game.Greater Seals of Clarity
- Mana Regen which becomes more powerful throughout the game, should cover your mana needs alonside the Utility tree.Greater Glyphs of Focus
- Flat cooldown for more spam!
In the first 3 levels you will be taking points in all 3 abilities, starting with Q, followed by E and then W. After this point you will be getting another 4 points in Q, and ofcourse taking a point in R whenever possible.
Once Q has been maxed you can alternate between E and W (E first).
Once Q has been maxed you can alternate between E and W (E first).
Early Game/Laning
During the laning phase you will want to concentrate on harassing with your Q, as well as last hitting (ofcourse). Try to use E to reposition yourself for Q, this is very mana hungry however so don't do it too often.
If you find yourself unable to get a striking chance for Q, use W to get some harassment in, if you really need to, sacrifice a few points in Q early on for W to get a bit more harassment going.
Midgame
Keep concentrating on last hitting, but now you have your ultimate so you have a lot of opportunities to help the other lanes and get kills with it.
In the lanes there are often going to be mini team fights between the 4 champions and when the fight ends you can strike.
Situation A will normally occur when a fight has taken place and the enemy champion has run back to recall, in this case fire your ultimate at their tower, you will have a good chance of getting the kill.
Situation B will normally occuer when a fight has taken place and your team mates have chased the enemy back, most enemies will run back and recall in the brush next to the tower... E Z kill!
Also if you are playing in a team that has clairvoyance, it is possible to steal buffs from junglers as you hit level 6, ask your support to reveal blue/red buff and steal or even kill as such.
Endgame/Teamfighting
In teamfights you will want to try and avoid as much focus as possible so you can deal as much damage as possible. At the beginning of the fight, position yourself to hit as many people as possible with your ultimate and go for kills on any low targets left. Use E to reposition yourself in a teamfight if you can. Make sure to use W on as many people as possible and if you can't get in range to hit enemies, buff other team mates instead. Also if available use your Exhaust on the enemies DPS/Carry whilst they are dealing their damage to hamper them.
